At CTV, we understand that our guests often celebrate special occasions during their stay. We want you to have a wonderful time at our villa, but it’s important that you understand our policies regarding events and functions.

We want to ensure that our guests are respectful of the residential areas where our properties are located. To achieve this, we have some guidelines for holding functions or events:

Please note that we do not allow birthday parties at any of our properties without prior arrangement with CTV.

For every paying guest, one non-paying guest is allowed. If you plan to have more non-paying guests, please request management consent in writing. We may also ask for a pre-disclosed guest list. If necessary, we may charge an additional fee for a security guard to ensure that the number of people on the property is controlled, noise levels are managed, and parking is arranged properly between 6 PM and 6 AM.

Please turn off music by 10 PM on weekdays and 11 PM on weekends. If you plan to have a function or event, we will notify your neighbors in advance. Please be mindful that if the music is not turned off before these hours, your neighbors may contact CTV directly, and in some cases, the South African Police Services, if the function becomes unruly.

If we hear excessive noise coming from the property after 10 PM on weekdays or 11 PM on weekends, we reserve the right to charge a fine of R10,000 to guests, which is charged by the Camps Bay Rate Payers Association for public disturbance.

If your function requires more than two suppliers (caterers, bar equipment, lighting, etc.), please hire an external event manager. You should disclose all supplier details well in advance, and access to the property should be coordinated with CTV. If you do not disclose the details of your suppliers prior to your arrival, we will not grant access.
