13. 3Beautiful penthouse with ocean and lions head Mountain View. Place was clean and as described. Walking distance to Camps Bay beach.
    However, the main bedroom AC didn’t work and it was hot and extremely windy outside. We were provided a portable AC but that meant we had to keep windows open for the air duct exhaust. Due to wind and window open, we had restless sleep.
    We were told that the AC potentially stopped working because we lowered the temperature below 21 degrees which didn’t make sense to us. Sort of indicating it was our fault.
    Management did try to fix the AC but they didn’t have the parts to fix it for. remainder of our stay.

16. 5Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft und können sie nur weiterempfehlen! Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der atemberaubende Ausblick – ob beim Frühstück, beim Entspannen oder abends mit einem Glas Wein – die Aussicht war einfach spektakulär. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Auch die Gastgeber waren herzlich und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt haben.
    Vielen Dank für diese tolle Erfahrung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

18. 4Tolles Penthouse in Bakoven mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf den Lion’s Head und das Meer. Florence, die Haushälterin, war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, Samantha und Chuma von Engel und Völkers jederzeit erreichbar. Schade, dass der Pool abgenützt ist und auf der kleinen Terrasse keine Liegen sowie Sonnenschirm vorhanden sind.

Everything was thought of, so we felt welcome right from the beginning. there was nothing to complaim about. the communication was prompt and always very friendly and helpful. They took always care about is. Thank you for everything.

24. 5The place is absolutely stunning! So close to camps bay and a great selection of places to eat within walking distance.
    Very responsive host too and helped answer all our questions. Chuma and Samantha were very helpful in the lead up to the stay.
    Florence the housekeeper was amazing and kept the place super clean! She was also so great with our 10 month old girl and made her smile!
    Place has great views and enough space for 6 or us. Provided baby cot and high chair for the baby too. Very safe too would highly recommend and would stay here again.

    – Accommodation is as advertised.
    – Extremely spacious and well equipped.
    – Showers are some of the best you’ll ever use in an AirBnB
    – Views are spectacular.
    – Quiet and friendly neighbourhood.
    – Within walking distance of Camps Bay bars/restaurants.
    – Housekeeper does a fantastically thorough job.
    – Would 100% recommend to other to stay.
    One thing though that I would be remised not to mention as it left a bad impression on me.
    Our flight arrived in CT around 10pm (as most flights from Europe do). Two days before arrival we were told there would be a “late check in fee”. Granted it was only £35 but there had been zero mention of this prior and it “was to be paid prior to arrival”. Such an unnecessary up charge for an already expensive place purely as there is no lockbox or other secure entry system externally that tenants could use upon arrival. So you can’t check in early or late it seems….
    Only flaw but still needed mentioned.

36. 5This is a fanstastic property within walking distance to Camps Bay. The property is in a great location with a panoramic view of the sea. It is extremely well equipped and in pristine condition. It is a very spacious duplex property for 6 people.
    It is probably the best Airbnb property we have stay in so far.
    I highly recommend this place and will stay here again next time we are in Cape Town.
    Checking in process provided by Engel & Volkers deserved a top rating.

39. 5Traumhaftes Penthouse, wunderschöner Blick, absolut ruhig und sicher.
    Der Pool ist eher ein Tauchbecken, für einen heißen Sommertag super erfrischend, sonst kalt. Hier lösen sich viele Fliesen, dies sollte bei dem Preis repariert werden.
    Wir kommen wieder!

41. 5We had a great stay at the Amara penthouse! Florence the housekeeper was super sweet and kept the space spotless. Chuma was on call throughout the trip and was very responsive whenever we had questions.
    In terms of layout, we were satisfied with the layout and space of the penthouse. The bed linen is soft and luxurious. The whole penthouse is air conditioned which is great during Cape Towns’ hottest months.
    We were overall very satisfied with the stay.

44. 5My friends and I loved our stay at Amara 2 penthouse. The penthouse looks exactly as in the photos, has nice views, secure and the host was very responsive. I highly recommend.

45. 5The penthouse is just amazing. The views on Camps Bay, Lion’s head and even Tablemountain are just stunning. The communication with the host was great and we felt like home within the first minutes.
    Just be aware that the pool is quite small as you can see on the photos and due to its location there is mostly no sun during the day. But the front terrace therefore gets a lot of sunshine during the day. Just perfect to hang out and relax.

    In all directions within the walls of the property, you are surrounded by a spectacular view – you wake up and sleep with the ocean breeze and waves, greeted by lion head, signal hill, table mountain (you can never get tired waking up to such views – breathtaking). Host was very helpful from when I booked my stay till the day I left. Host provided airport transfers, recommended tours/restaurants, provided trust worthy drivers etc. I was so worried about load shedding but host surprised me with the installation of solar inverters for power backup. I will highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, spacious, safe, beautiful place with spectacular views and a responsive host.

52. 5Insgesamt eine sehr sehr schöne Unterkunft, nur der Pool war kleiner als erwartet. War gut fotografiert:-) war aber egal, da wir eh viel unterwegs waren und eher zu kalt. Engel & Völkers haben einen tollen Job gemacht. Alles prima:-))

54. 5I had the most incredible stay at the penthouse! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the location couldn’t have been better. Having a spacious garage for our rental car was a huge plus, and the lift that opened up right into the whole house was truly impressive. The rooms were incredibly spacious and beautifully appointed.
    A special shoutout to Chuma, who was an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and her warmth and hospitality were truly appreciated. I’m already looking forward to telling all my friends about this amazing place. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

58. 5Our stay at the Amara Penthouse was absolutely fantastic! The property was perfect in every way, clean, modern, spacious and with spectacular views in all directions. The location in the heart of Camps Bay made it a breeze to grab our morning coffee, walk to the beach, or drive to central Cape Town in a breeze. The private garage allowed us to park our rental car with peace of mind. We are still on cloud 9 after our stay in Cape Town and can’t wait to go back, and we will certainly stay at Amara if we do.

59. 5What a special place!! This was our second stay at Amara and we absolutely LOVED it! Gorgeous views of the Atlantic ocean, lovely atmosphere at home, very comfortable beds. We had a fabulous time and can’t wait to be back again.

61. 4My family and I had a great stay over the Christmas period. The apartment has an awesome view of the ocean and the mountain, relaxing. The kids most enjoyed being at the beach daily. For parents with kids under 10 (waking up at night) with the main bedroom upstairs and other rooms being downstairs the kids can safely use stairs or the elevator. Very responsive and helpful host!

62. 5I had a wonderful day at Amara Villa. The check in process was smooth and the host made sure we were welcomed well. The location is perfect, with great ocean views and Table mountain well visible from the property as well. It is also close to amenities and restaurants in the neighborhood are within walking distance. The one main issue we had was quickly resolved, and they were very communicative with regards to load shedding so that we can plan ourselves. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to stay in the Camps Bay / Bakoven area.

    Les photos ne reflètent pas du tout l’appartement et la vue ! Tout est absolument époustouflant ! L’appartement est très spacieux.
    Si vous avez envie de passer un séjour tranquille, malheureusement ce ne sera pas le cas car beaucoup de passage à la maison.
