Villa Charmante is located on the slopes of Lion’s Head, this beautifully designed family home captures the essence of Cape Town summers with ample spaces to soak up the sun, soak in the views or soak off the salt from a day at the beach.

Located at the front of the property, the formal lounge and TV room have stacking glass doors that completely open up both spaces onto the large covered patio. A 12 seater outdoor dining table, outdoor lounge seating, sun loungers and a large, heated infinity pool make this the perfect spot to enjoy a lazy braai (barbecue) with the whole family while watching the sunset over the ocean.

To the back of the ground level, an impressive formal dining room comfortably seats 12 guests and leads into the fully fitted kitchen with scullery and pantry. An airy conservatory to the back of the property is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast. A guest bathroom completes this level.

A grand double staircase leads upstairs where the bedrooms, gym and study are located. The property also has its own lift for your convenience. The home gym comes with a treadmill, stationary bicycle and free weights. The study is the perfect spot to take business calls away from the entertainment area.

The main bedroom suite is absolutely spectacular. Stacking glass doors slide away to open the entire main bedroom onto the wrap around balcony with uninterrupted views of the ocean. From this vantage point guests could spot whales and dolphins (binoculars are provided). Ample walk-in closet space and his and hers bathrooms (both with bath and shower) complete this suite.

There is a live-in housekeeper.

Generator that powers the entire house. Off-hours are between 12 – 6am but exceptions can be arranged directly with the house manager.
