5We had such a special stay here. What an amazing place to unwind and reconnect with family. You can’t wish for a better position, perched in the midst of camps bay and glen beach, you truly have the best of both worlds. The main house and penthouse lends itself so well to family gatherings, suiting young and old with something for everyone. The beach access is such a win with no need to get in your car to go anywhere. Woolies dash deliveries within half an hour even over the busy Easter weekend. What a treat! 5Best Place near Camps Bay hands down! This is our fifth time to South Africa, always staying in Camps Bay, but the first time staying directly on Glen Beach at this location. We had a group of 12 (renting both the main unit as well as the penthouse), half of which were children. The location is unbeatable, directly on the beach with the sound of the ocean, beautiful sunsets, and great Mountain Views. The walk to Camps Bay for restaurants, grocery, and shopping is an 8-10 minute walk, relatively flat. Our family also took advantage of the city pass, which included the hop on hop off the bus, which had a stop in Camps Bay, not too far from the villa. Mary Louise was immediately responsive to any inquiry. She even left some treats for us when we landed as we had a late flight. Cleaning staff were on site every day to do basic cleaning, make beds, do laundry, etc. The pool was a great temperature and our kids were in it daily. I will always stay at this location in the future!

Some of the furnishings could do with an upgrade (curtains in the master bedroom), the penthouse bedrooms could use extra plug-sockets too.
The Master does appear to have a damp issue, something to have a look at at some point.
The host was great and its pretty clear its a really well run set-up.
You’d be hard pushed to find a better location, its stunning.
5We had such an incredible stay at this home. We had a very large group travel from afar so I wanted to book a stand out vacation home and this exceeded our expectations. The location couldn’t get better. The home is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The owners were great at communicating. The housekeepers went above and beyond. 5The location is absolutely unbeatable. Right on the beach with a great deck and pool – perfect for relaxing with a group. Beautiful views in every direction. Five-minute walk from the house to the main little street in camps bay with shops and restaurants. Mary-Louise was very nice, helpful and responsive. We want to come back already!

5This is an incredible home right in Camps Bay literally on the beach. The housekeepers were so nice and so helpful! The hosts were awesome and very responsive when we needed them. You cannot beat the location. We walked to restaurants every night. Kids played on the beach in front of the house constantly. We were there in the winter time and even with crummy weather it was amazing!

5An excellent location with unbeatable views. The beach is at your door step and the house is fully serviced daily. The interiors are as promised in the pictures and this rental was professionally run. We enjoyed all the amenities and services of a 5 star hotel with all the flexibility and ease of a home stay with a friend. 5The perfect home for our Cape Town holiday. Perfect location and great host!
5We were a group of 6 and having 6 double rooms was ideal. It’s not cheap but location, setting, quality were as good as it gets and we got to have the communal space you don’t find at a hotel. Mary-Louise and Sean were great hosts. There when you need them , but otherwise you just do your own thing…which we did.
Having the rooms and house cleaned every day to a hotel standard was perfect for us.
We had multiple dinners and breakfasts in Camps Bay which is a 5-10mins walk to world class restaurants like Codfather and The Bungalow was ideal. Ubers are ridiculously cheap, if you live in UK like us, so was a great base to get round the area including Constantia, Stellenbosch and Franschoek.
The house is fully alarmed and camerad up which reassured some of our group. Quality of furnishings was top class. I just wished we’d had more time to sit and relax and enjoy the place as we spent so long out and about. The terrace came into its own at night though as a relaxing entertainment area.

5Breathtaking view/location (it could be the best Airbnb in Cape Town for a beach locale) with a cute and compact beach community (Camps Bay) easy to walk to from the unit. Owner very responsive and helpful; daily maid/laundry service also very helpful as well. Made for an excellent start for my family’s first trip to Africa. Very secure and plenty of space, both indoors and outside unit.
5Our family of ten found the home extremely comfortable and fun. We watch the surfers off the deck and ate dinners together at their big table. The sights, sounds and salt air smells were delightful. Check-in was a breeze and Danielle explained everything. Mary- Louise answered all my questions promptly. I highly recommend.
5My husband and I were traveling from the US with four other couples for a trip to South Africa for a safari. It was a perfect and gorgeous setting to chill for two nights before we headed to safari and to help with our jet lag. We each had our own bedroom and bath. Lots of space to hang out inside or outside. It’s right on the beach with a stunning view of the ocean! Loved hearing the waves crashing. House was outstanding and even better in person. Be aware that the home and entrance is down on a lower level than the street level. There is a set of stone steps to get down to home with our luggage. Thankfully we had the men to tackle that chore. It’s just a few minutes walk to all the great restaurants and we felt very comfortable doing so. Mary-Louise sent a video of location and a pin to make it easier to find. She met us at the home and was extremely helpful and friendly. We all wished that we could have stayed longer!! If we ever come back to SA, we know where we’ll be staying!!

5We had a fantastic stay at Mary-Louise’s home on Camps Bay. The scenery is breathtaking, the home is beautiful and was meticulously maintained, communication with Mary-Louise was fantastic. Overall an amazing experience and cannot recommend highly enough.
4We have rented several lovely homes in Camps Bay. We were disappointed upon arrival with the condition of the home. Either post new realistic photos or lower the nightly rate. You are paying for the location!!! The beach access is spectacular. Every home we have rented had water, milk & basic necessities. This had a few pods of coffee. The daily cleaning was a huge plus. Much appreciated. Walking fistance to Camps Bay was fantastic for a group of six.

5Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to stay due to COVID, but the remaining members of my party did come to the property. The main feed back I got from them was “This place is awesome, please figure out how to get it every year!” Mary Louise was a treat to deal with in communication and responded immediately to every question I and the other guests had. Bummed that I couldn’t be there myself, but I will surely be looking at the property every time I go to Capetown.

5The house has Amazing view and wide terrace on the beach. It has 6 bedrooms that accommodated 13 of us and two living rooms with view. The house is nice , cooperative and approachable.
There two disadvantages
– Narrow and steep stair case to reach the house. But the host provided help with luggage.
– The swing pool is not covered.

5This house is an absolute gem – perfect location, where you can hear the waves all throughout the night, comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged, and within walking distance of many trendy and cute cafes and restaurants. The host, Mary-Louise, was extremely accommodating and helpful, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. There were robes and toiletries in every bedroom, and the housekeeping daily was very appreciated. Would recommend this place without any hesitation.
