A split-level, rustic 4-bedroom Glen Beach bungalow offers guests the ultimate beach life experience. The deck overlooks Glen Beach and offers guests views of the beach, Camps Bay, and the mountain. This bungalow is located on Glen Beach and is one of the few bungalows on the Atlantic Seaboard that has direct beach access. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants; perfect for surfers, families with older children, and friend groups who love to lounge and relax.
Two level house with no inside stairs. Guest have to use outside stairs to access each level.
Upstairs: 1 main bedroom with en-suite bathroom, reading room/kids room, lounge, guest bathroom, dining area, kitchen and deck overlooking the beach.
Downstairs: 3 bedrooms of which one is a main bedroom with en-suite bathroom, bedroom 2 and bedroom 3 share a bathroom, dining area, kitchen and outside dining area.

This house could work for families with little children IF the family chooses to sleep all downstairs (3 bedrooms) to be close to the kids and keep an eye on them.
The gate leading to the beach is not child-friendly and kids can easily get out. It is therefore not an ideal house for small children.

4The location is excellent! You are right on the beach in a semi-private area. You are short walk from all the key restaurants and a small grocery store in Camps Bay. You can see the beach/sea right from the deck and you can hear the waves calming crashing on the beach at night (very relaxing).
The host was also excellent! The check-in was great and the host was very accommodating for us when we had an issue with flying out for two days because of weather issues at our home destination. We loved our daily house keeper who kept everything spotless and she even helped us with our own laundry (we tipped her well).
The only reason I gave it 4 stars vs 5 is the place is a little dated. It’s very cute but could be updated in certain areas.
5The best Air B & B we have ever stayed in! The view was incredible- we loved the two floors for plans for our families to have some space & privacy. Waking up and going to bed by the sea was divine. A must stay.

Place overall needs updating to be of similar quality to neighboring homes, including soft furnishings and better kitchen storage coordination.

5Enjoyed our stay in the Cottage, which was extremely well located. Nested in between Camps Bay and Clifton 4th, Glen Beach is a perfect spot close to everything. The Cottage itself has a lot of character as it merges with nature, is very quiet and has a direct beach access to a private beach area. Lots of stairs to go in and out, but loved the area and will definitely return.
4A hidden gem. Beautifully set home on the beach, with the mountains as a backdrop. Tranquil place to escape the hustle and bustle, with all the amenities you could need. Mary, the housekeeper, was a delight.
Need to be a good driver for the steep/narrow driveway and relatively fit for the steep, uneven stairs to street level if you plan to Uber/walk. Smaller, more manageable stairs from the driveway and between upper and lower property level.
5Such a beautiful stay. The place itself was beautiful and the scenery and views were the best. Worth every penny. The host Stephanie was so good and so helpful and always responsive. Would definitely recommend this place and this host to everyone.
5Nice place and an awesome host
4Location is perfect at the beginning of Camps Bay Beach. Easy access to the beach. Property has lots of stairs to get two and we were unable to park our van inside the property. During our stay there was a lot of rain and there was a couple of leaks inside the house. Other than that we had a great time. Stephanie was very responsive and place was clean.
5We had an amazing stay at this beachfront gem in Cape Town! The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with stunning views, and just a short walk to great restaurants and cafes. The house was spotless, comfortable, and felt very safe throughout our stay.
A special shoutout to Mary, who was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to keep the place tidy and even helped with our laundry—such a treat while traveling! Stephanie, the host, was incredibly accommodating and helped us with both an early check-in and late check-out, which made our trip even more seamless.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient Cape Town getaway. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
5The place was beautiful and located in a secure area with direct access to the beach. The neighborhood is safe, walkable, and offers breathtaking views from both the living room and the balcony. The host was incredibly attentive and responded quickly whenever we needed assistance. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this place!
5The house was great but the lower part of it requires some maintenance. Accessibility is also a challenge for physically challenged individuals. However, when Stephanie realised we have a physically challenged person as part of her guests, she transferred us to another place which was great.

5Huset ligger fantastisk! Panorama udsigt over strand og havet. Ligger desuden. Ved en aflukket del af camps bay (Glen beach) hvor der er meget roligt, samtidig med at både camps bay og Clifton er indenfor få minutters gang.
Huset er lidt slidt men fungerer rigtig godt. Vi var en familie på 5 med store/voksne børn.
Vi havde stor glæde af Mary, som passede og plejede huset for os, ordnede opvasken og vaskede vores tøj. Helt fantastisk!
