Amber Place sleeps up to 16 Guests and is available for bookings on a weekly and monthly basis all year round.

On the first floor, there are 5 bedrooms, two of which open onto a large terrace overlooking the pool and ocean, and the rest are facing the magnificent 12 Apostles mountain range. There is also a common cigar room and a sun seeker terrace offering splendid ocean views.
The pool area features a sea view and a dining area under a shady balau awning. A second terrace overlooking the grass lawn provides an idyllic setting for a morning breakfast.

· Heating of the pool requires 4 days’ notice to heat. So please provide the requisite notice in advance if required.
· No parties, functions, loud music or noise are permitted. All Guests are required to sign a noise policy prior to staying.
· Children need to be supervised at all times as there is an open pool, stairs, steep drops and balconies.
· A pool net can be fitted on request.
· For stays of 4 weeks and longer, an electricity allowance of R4000 will be included. Electricity up and above the R4000 will be for the guest’s account.
Amber Place does have an inverter and battery backup and you will be able to use all essential appliances like lights, wifi, tvs and the alarm system will function. Kindly use lights and appliances sparingly during load shedding in order to save as much battery as possible so it does not run out during load shedding.

5Amber’s place is a wonderful spot in Camps Bay for a large group. It comfortably accommodated all 15 guests and still felt spacious throughout the stay. Robyn was great to coordinate with and made check-in smooth and straightforward. Abdul, the house manager, was awesome—friendly and incredibly helpful, always quick to assist with any questions. The property has beautiful views from both floors!
5Really enjoyed our stay here. The property was spotless and very well maintained, which made it feel comfortable right away. The location is great too and very convenient and easy to get around from. The host was fantastic: proactive, responsive, and clearly cares about guests having a good experience. Communication was smooth throughout and everything was exactly as described. Only drawback is while all the rooms are en-suite, they don’t all have a nice view and some are quite spacious than others but they are all very comfortable. Overall, a clean, well-located place with a thoughtful host. I’d definitely stay here again and happily recommend it to others.
5Lovely big villa with great views! All the bedrooms had en-suites and the living areas were very spacious and perfect for our group. Location was convenient for Camps Bay by car or uber. Abdul was very attentive and helpful with anything we needed. We had a great stay here and would return!

Ive stayed in numerous airbnb homes and I havent met anyone as genuine and responsive as him. I could go on and on about him and the house. I would HIGHLY recommend them to others. 4I picked this accommodation to celebrate my 40th birthday. Very spacious accommodation with more than enough space for 11 of us. Abdul was very helpful when we needed anything. The scenery and view around the accommodation is so beautiful, exactly as shown in the picture. We had the accommodation cleaning service everyday. Only issue was the deposit we needed to pay after paying for accommodation. I was not aware of this extra cost until a few days to check in and it takes weeks to get your money back. I will definitely recommend to any big group visiting Cape Town.

4Nice place in a good location. As most big houses in Cape Town, photos look a little better then the places actually are. Overall great house, great rooms, great housekeeper but everything felt a little old. Especially the kitchen could use a make-over. Also: the house hosts 16 people but there’s not a single table that seats 16 so you always have to move things around.
Other then that, the house had everything we needed and made our stay enjoyable.
Little downside: breakage deposit is held 14 days after departure which is fine. But there is no communication after check-out whether the deposit will be returned or not. Several messages have been unanswered…
5We stayed here for a number of friends and family. The kitchen was fully equipped which allowed us to cook a large meal. It was great to have a staff member living in a separate complex on site, to assist where necessary. We had a great check-in and Robyn and the team were brilliant.
The facilities like the communal areas, pool and dining areas were great.
it was spread across 2 levels above Camps Bay, with the Camps Bay waterfront with associated shops and restaurants approx 5-10 min drive away.
It was noted that some rooms were positioned better on the house than others, however all had ensuite bathrooms and were well fitted out.
We would definitely stay again should we be lucky enough to bring a large group through again.

Non si possono organizzare feste o eventi e non si possono far accedere persone extra. C è una policy sul rumore da seguire. Presente il garage con 1 posto auto + moto. Camere con bellissima vista e letti molto comodi. Servizio pulizie ottimo.
5Great stay and great place
5Was een heel aangenaam verblijf, acht fijne kamers met elk een eigen badkamer. Doordeweeks werd er elke dag schoongemaakt en de gastheer Chaka was ook altijd aanwezig/bereikbaar voor vragen.
Voor wat betreft de regels met betrekking tot geluidsoverlast, hier hebben wij (groep van 12 mannen, leeftijd 32-37) totaal geen problemen mee ervaren, al was ik hier eerlijk gezegd vooraf wel een beetje huiverig voor.
Wel is het huis op de foto’s iets mooier dan in het echt, maar dat is overal zo.
5Fantastic house in the perfect location. It’s got it all! We had a team work event here for 8 people, and the house was perfect. Support from Robyn, Shaka and team was great from start to finish. Really couldn’t have been better!
3They are so strict when they want the 15k holding fee but they take 14 days to return it even when they are aware by check out that everything is in order. So it takes 24 days to return your money because Airbnb also take 10 days for the money to reflect. It’s absurd for me. 15k is a lot of money.

5We were group of 10 adults and 6 kids and amber place was prefect choice for our group. The description of villa is accurate. We had specious 8 bedrooms very comfortable and felt us like we are at home. There is very good steak restaurant within 9 min walking distance. Location was great to explore cape town. 5 min drive to campus bay beach. Chaka our host gave great support during our stay. The villa is highly recommended for families.
2No battery or solar panels. Load shedding has been around for years. 3 sets of keys and if you dont get a set you can’t leave or enter the house when the power goes off. Glossy tiles outside make it unsafe with small kids around the pool area. I would look to rent another house when returning.

5Amber’s place comfortably accommodate 16 people. The place is well maintained and Robyn/Chaka are excellent host. The internet connection kept bugging, this could be improved. I will definitely stay again @ Amber’s place.
5We booked Amber for a boys getaway from the city. The house and location are stunning and easy to navigate to. Its a close to many amenities along the Camps Bay route. Chaka, the house assistant was a pleasure, he was accommodating and ensured that everything we required was done (he even switched on the fire place while we were out cause the weather changed).
Only things to build on are;
The geyser; the last 2 or 3 people to shower end up with lukewarm water
The WIFI kept glitching and the network in the area isn’t as good.
Not advisable if you’re planning on going as a large group to party, the space might allow but the area is very quiet and the no noise hours (10pm – 8am) wont work as that includes people coming in and out the house at those hours.
Overall, exceeded our expectations.
