3We stayed for three nights and overall enjoyed our time. The location is great — very safe, with the beach, shops (700m away), and nice cafés all within walking distance. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, and watching the sunset from there was a real highlight.
That said, a few things could be improved. Some of the furniture feels a little “tired,” and there was no pillow for the cool seat on the balcony. We also found clothes from previous guests still in the drawers, which didn’t leave the best impression.
Unfortunately, the checkout experience was quite frustrating — we waited for over half an hour, tried calling and messaging the host, but no one responded. We eventually had to leave the keys behind to avoid missing our travels. The host later explained she had felt sick, but the lack of communication at the time felt unprofessional and disappointing.
Aside from those issues, this is a nice place in a great location!
4We had to move twice due to unforeseen problems with properties. We eventually got everything sorted out.

4Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus. Für den Check-in und Check-out wurde uns zugesagt dass der Host uns trifft für die Schlüsselübergabe. Beim Check-In haben wir über eine Stunde gewartet bis wir die Schlüssel bekommen haben. Beim Check-out kam auch niemand.
3Hi,
wir waren neun Tage in der Unterkunft von Nox und eigentlich recht zufrieden.
Bei unsere Ankunft waren leider einige Dinge nicht in Ordnung und sollten am nächsten Tag direkt erledigt werden. Dies war dann nicht der Fall , so dass wir die Unterkunft nicht zu 100% nutzen konnten. Am zweiten Tag, haben wir mehr als zwei Stunden auf einen Angestellten von Nox gewartet, der leider seine Verspätung nicht angekündigt hat. Nachdem er sich alles notiert hat, bekamen wie ca 1h später eine Nachricht, dass man am heutigen keine Zeit sich zu kümmern, alle seien zu beschäftigt.
Wir haben dann Airbnb Support eingeschaltet und direkte Hilfe bekommen. Am dritten Tag waren fast alle defekten Dinge behoben und wir haben einen Gutschein von Nox erhalten, als Entschuldigung.
Nichtsdestotrotz, hatten wir eine gute Zeit in der Unterkunft, die im übrigen sehr gut gelegen ist. Ein toller Ausblick von der Terrasse und vom Pool. Zur Promenade und zum Strand, ist es nur ein Katzensprung.

4The sea view from the house is breathtaking. My family and I loved our stay there.

Something to consider if you’re travelling with younger. kids- the entrance to the 3rd en-suite bedroom on a lower floor is via exterior stairs.

4Bel appartement Duplex, vue sur la mer et la montagne, piscine très agréable (eau très froide fin février en été), proche de Victoria Avenue Camp Bay (restaurants, joli front de mer). Quelques soucis de propreté au démarrage mais qui ont vite été réglés par l’équipe Nox réactive. Important à savoir, il y a des coupures d’électricité en Afrique du Sud, plusieurs fois dans la journée, plusieurs heures d’affilées. Si votre logement n’est pas équipé d’un générateur pour pallier à ces coupures, sachez que votre réfrigérateur va s’éteindre, donc difficile de conserver de la viande… Quelques prises restent activent pendant les coupures cependant.
5Sehr tolle Unterkunft mit wahnsinnig schönem Ausblick. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt perfekt, da sie nicht allzu sehr im Zentrum ist und dennoch nicht weit von camps bay entfernt ist. Innocent hat uns beim Check in sehr unterstützt und dafür gesorgt, dass wir ohne Stress einchecken konnten. Kann man auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlen!

5We had the most amazing stay at Beach Steps. The location is fantastic and the sun sets are to die for! We had everything we needed – check in was great, the apartment was spotlessly clean and communication was good. It took a while to work out the shower and find the glasses but otherwise there are no complaints. We would definitely book this apartment again.
5Amazing position with just the best ocean views . Very clean and all that we needed . Fab terraces and sitting areas . We could nt work the complicated coffee machine and Grant our host provided us with a cafetière straight away ! We would def rebook here . The pool is little more than a plunge one but was fine !
5We had an absolutely lovely stay here as a family of 5 (kids aged 11,9 and 6) for 9 days. We could have stayed longer!
The location is perfect – walking distance to the main strip of Camps Bay with beach, shops, restaurants. The pool deck and patio, both prominent, face west for uninterrupted sun sets and long warm evenings while the kids splash in the pool.
The apartment itself is much larger than the pictures show, modern, and well equipped. With three kids, the option of being able to stay comfortably ‘at home’ for half a day in between excursions around Cape Town was important.
The host was responsive and the daily cleaning service very well received while on holiday! There is safe parking off-street also.
All in all good value for money and recommended for larger families or groups that want a nice location to ‘chill’ at in-between exploring the city.
5Great location and a relaxing place, ideally located for Camps Bay, Cape Point and the wider Cape Town area. The Nox hosts respond really quickly and professionally to any queries – this was our second visit and we’ll definitely stay again.

5A fantastic apartment in a stunning location. We stayed as a group of four and particularly enjoyed the spacious terrace with views over Bakoven and Camps Bay, and watching the sun setting over the sea from the pool. A daily dip in the nearby tidal pool is a must!
5Logement très confortable, conforme aux photos. Le concierge nous attendait à 2h du matin. Seule remarque: le logement n’est pas équipé pour les load-sheddings. Il n’y avait aucunes lampes, briquet, allumettes pour, à minima, allumer des bougies.

5Stunning place with amazing views and near and modern.. The host was always available and responded quickly with any issues. The private pool was amazing, and sheltered from the wind as well. You cannot ask for a better location, all in walking distance of the beach and restuarants in Camps bay. There is secure parking for your vehicle and the whole premises is very secure. I would definitely book this place again. Our host Rudi was really on top of things and responded promptly to all our requests. the house keeper was also very friendly ?

5Eine wirklich einzigartige Unterkunft. Wir sind mit unserer Tochter gereist. Für sie hatten wir ein separates Schlafzimmer neben unserem Master-Bedroom mit direktem Meerblick. Zudem waren meine Eltern mit dabei, die eine Treppe weiter unten Ihren eigenen Schlafbereich mit Bad hatten. War perfekt für uns. Die Haushälterin war sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und gründlich. Wir hatten obwohl es schon April war traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge. Küche ist voll ausgestattet, zudem ein blitzsauberer Gasgrill. Durch eine Tür im Außenbereich gelangt man direkt zu den Treppen die nur ein paar Minuten vom Strand entfernt sind. 5 Sterne Unterkunft die wir absolut weiterempfehlen.
