Camps Bay Terrace Lodge is spacious three-bedroom (all ensuite) Camps Bay beach accommodation that ideal for a group of friends or a family. This is one of Camps Bay few remaining original style, oceanfront villas, and it has been furnished and styled accordingly with a colonial-style decor.
The location on Victoria Road is within an easy walk to the main Camps Bay beach and restaurants. There is also a small beach directly opposite the property (Bali Bay beach) and two other beaches (Bakoven and Beta beach) with about five minutes walk.
The two comfortable wing chairs are the ideal spot for watching the endless change of the ocean, and the large leather sofa invites you to curl up in front of the satellite TV or to enjoy a good book.
Old-fashioned double doors open onto a terrace with table and chairs to enjoy al fresco dining. A few steps lead to the sun terrace with sun loungers and a large swimming pool.
The three en-suite bedrooms are all accessed from the living area and either enjoy ocean or mountain views and all have air conditioning. Two rooms have queen-sized beds, and one is a twin that can be made up as a king-size bed. One bathroom has a bath and a separate shower, the other two have showers only.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything required for self-catering. Camps Bay Terrace Lodge also has a barbeque outside; ideal for a South African summer braai.

5I would definitely recommend this place for a stay around Cape Town. Location is great. Views of the sea are wonderful. Communication is easy and quick. Very nice rooms, each with their own bathroom.

Spacious enough to comfortably accommodate six guests. The pool and entertainment area added tremendous value to our experience and were thoroughly enjoyed.

3I’m really unhappy with the lack of privacy — I woke up two days in a row to find maintenance workers inside my apartment without notice.
For the place and location was good as the pictures.
5The place is great for a big family and friends. Every room has an ensuite which makes things easy when getting ready. We didn’t test the pool as it was a bit chilly. However the views are just unbeatable.
4The view is absolutely stunning — it’s the main reason to stay here! The location is also ideal, just a short walk into town. You’re close enough to enjoy the energy of the town, but far enough to avoid the noise and crowds.
One thing to note: this unit seems to serve as a central hub for staff servicing other units in the complex. Starting around 10 AM, there was a regular presence of housekeepers, pool staff, gardeners, and maintenance workers throughout the day. It didn’t ruin our stay, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re looking for total privacy or quiet during the daytime hours.
4House location is fantastic!! The pool was great, although water was pretty cold was refreshing! The views and location though made up for any flaws. Easy to communicate & check in and out.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft! Die Wohnung ist wunderschön , sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Der Ausblick ist unglaublich ! Und der Pool größer als erwartet. Besonders die zentrale Lage ist fantastisch – man erreicht alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten/ Strand und Restaurants in kürzester Zeit zu Fuß. Natürlich hört man in so einer Lage den Verkehr, aber das ist kein Problem, wenn man die Bequemlichkeit der Nähe zu allem zu schätzen weiß. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen!

4We ended up having a great time at this property. It is an older property but kept very clean and they really go out of their way to take care of you. My only concerns were related to the check in process as we waited outside for quite a while in the rain. If the weather wasn’t bad this wouldn’t have bothered us but they did apologize and took care of us the rest of the trip. Overall, really good experience!

5We had a great time at Richard’s place. We only stayed for 3 days but wish we could have stayed longer. The house is truly as beautiful as the pictures suggest. The highlight of the house is the outdoor area, with its swimming pool, stunning views over the ocean and nice braai-area. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly. We would definitely visit again.

3Views are spectacular and access to local restaurants and beach are great. Maintenance is a problem as many windows were hard to either open or close, furniture and appliances are very old. There was no internet as data had not been paid, we were promised daily that the issue would be resolved but never was. Local contact was always late (check in, check out and meeting to resolve the internet).

Ideal location, close enough to modt things, good access to public transport as necessary, but secluded enough to be peaceful with the occasionsl exception of the main road traffic.

On the last night we had a power outage that lasted until the time we checked out …… not such a pleasant way to end such a beautiful stay . 5I don’t even know where to begin – this was the most magical Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Checking in was a dream – stunning views, extremely clean, beautiful pool, spacious. I’d say this is the perfect place for 3 couples or a group/family of 6 people. The maid came daily and cleaned which was fantastic. I felt extremely safe while there and the internet was decent. I would say the only thing I didn’t realize is that there was a unit below ours – but they had their own pool and such so it wasn’t super noticeable. The kitchen was also not the most spacious/upgraded but we didn’t do much cooking, so no problem for us. I cannot wait to stay here again!
5We had a fab time in Camps Bay, views were amazing and easy to Uber towards town or Hout Bay. House keeping came daily, and have access to the property via a second entrance.

5This property was the prefect location for us to stop after a week on the road exploring South Africa. As can be seen on the details, the views are sublime and indeed, are even better in reality!
We used the appartement from which to explore the locality; Robben Island, Table Mountain, Simon’s Town and the penguins, V&A waterfront shopping, Cape Point Vineyards, Chapmans’s Peak Drive….
Wonderful restaurants down the road within 5 minutes walking distance in Camps Bay, a particular favourite was Zenzero. Also turn left out of the appartement and walk to the rocky point via Bootlegger Coffee Company en route!
And after a day out and about it was lovely to come back to the serenity of the apparentement, sunbathe and swim and get lost in the view!
Great communication from Richard and his team, and easy arrival and checkout in person with lovely Sipho.

5We loved this place, and were so sad to leave. The pictures don’t really do it justice. The views are incredible, it was cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything that you needed to cook. It was a 5 minute walk to the high street with all of the shopping and eateries that you could want and the beach was immediately across the street. It was a dream.
