La Baia is spread over three levels, all of which have wooden decks looking out over the ocean. The first level can be reached from the double garage by elevator that opens onto a wooden sun deck with loungers. This level of the abode has a private gym with state-of-the-art equipment, including a cross trainer, a reclining bike, a treadmill, mats, and weights. There is also a small spa with a sauna, massage bed, shower, and toilet next to the gym (a spa therapist can be organised on request at an extra cost).
Opposite the fitness room on the same level is a self-contained studio apartment that is ideal for guests looking for extra privacy. The studio has a separate entrance and features open plan living and dining spaces, a fully-equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, and a bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The lounge opens onto a quiet balcony with a table and chairs and lovely sea views.
The first floor of the villa features beautifully appointed and elegantly furnished living and dining areas with plush décor in natural hues. It has a rustic 12-seater dining table and chairs, and a large, open-plan kitchen with a central cooking island and top-of-the-range appliances. The kitchen is an entertainer’s dream with a conventional and steam oven, a water cooker, a wine fridge, and a double fridge with a filtered still and sparkling water dispenser. A separate scullery-cum-pantry just off the kitchen has an extra fridge.
The living and dining areas open onto a large wraparound wooden deck with a solar-heated swimming pool, hot tub, sun loungers, hammocks, and an outdoor lounge with an indoor/outdoor fireplace. The deck boasts spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Lion’s Head and is the perfect spot for late afternoon sundowners.
The second level of the villa is home to the master bedroom and four guest bedrooms, all of which are en-suite and have lovely ocean or mountain views. The luxurious master bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a large oval bathtub in creamy stone and a deluxe rain shower. It opens onto a wraparound wooden deck that offers breathtaking views of the ocean. The other four guest bedrooms have king or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms with rain showers, and access to either the deck, cosy courtyards, or pretty gardens. All the bedrooms have built-in cupboards and beautiful ocean or mountain views.
This floor of the villa also has a small communal lounge area-cum-study with comfortable furnishings that opens onto the second-floor deck and a laundry room. There is also a protected barbecue area with a large gas-and-wood barbecue, a 12-seater outdoor dining table, and an outdoor kitchen with a sink and fridge for hassle-free outdoor entertaining. A huge stock of wood can be found next to the entertainment area, as well as an outdoor courtyard for the laundry room.
La Baia is a SMART house with state-of-the-art technology to ensure every need is taken care of. It is fully secure, has air-conditioning and heating throughout, and has a double garage with secure off-street parking for two cars.

5Stunning villa. Great views. Beautifully decorated. The shared living spaces are perfect for a large group. Well set up and stocked. Bedrooms are very comfortable and all bathrooms lovely. Moleen the maid was brilliant, helped us when we asked and went the extra mile. We would absolutely like to come back again!

5WOW! This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. We were a group of 6 guests, each with our own bedroom and en-suite bath. The rooms are spacious and modern, with amazing views. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking of all kinds. The views are breathtaking, and the amenities are top notch. Josh from Turnkey as well as Moleen, the housekeeper were so helpful and amazing, ready with suggestions and help for pretty much anything. We would gladly come back to this property in future. If 6 stars were available, La Baia would get them!

5La Baia was a stunning villa. The views and sunsets are out of this world, and we would happily come back. Zelda the house manager was just terrific and was super responsive to our questions on power and load shedding. The room are all perfectly equipped with en suite bathrooms and were very comfortable. The balconies are gorgeous and each one had a great view. There are plenty of stairs, but the lift was great for our luggage. We had six kids from 1-13, and we had no issues with stairs or safety. The two housekeepers were also amazing and helped keep the house in perfect state. Lastly we used a chef service recommended by turnkey for breakfast, and that was a wonderful perk.
5I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s in my time and this one was objectively the best one yet. It felt like a home. Extremely well furnished, everything is tastefully done with anything and everything you could need. From sparkling water on tap to kitchen equipment to make bread. This place even has a botanicals set for making excellent Jin and tonics!
Would highly recommend and would return without a doubt.
