1. 3We were a large group of 10. The location of Merridew was great and the house had the right amount and layout of bedrooms to suit our needs. However, the house was extremely cold and damp which made our stay a little uncomfortable. We had a problem setting the alarm which took 3 days to sort out. There was a safe in the house which we could not get access to despite asking a couple of times. I found working with turnkey 365 frustrating. I dealt with 5 different members of staff throughout the process.

4. 5A very nice home with all the facilities you need. Great pool and a very nice terrass. Walking distance to both the water and to restaurants and shops.

8. 5We had a lovely stay at Merridew. It easily accommodated us all (3 families with a total of 5 kids from 3 to 7years old).
   The kitchen was very well equipped and had lots of storage space. Beds were comfortable and we felt safe at the property.
   It’s within walking distance to the beach and restaurants and cafes, and there are shops nearby as well.
   The area is really lovely and lively, it was great. The little plus for us was to be able to close off the pool area for peace of mind with the kids.
   Josh and Daniel were very friendly and very responsive when we had questions.

17. 4Great place. Great location. We were a group of 11 and the house was perfect to handle the amount of people. Having a friendly cleaner cone every week day really helped and the hosts were always on point when needed.

18. 5Most amazing experience. If you truly want to relax and be pampered I recommend this home. It has everything and more, especially for a big party and family. The contact, Julian, was amazing. The housekeeper was just as good. Thank you again for this wonderful experience.

20. 4Great house and a great location with a walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Easy to access and find.
    Access to the property made easy by host, but driving into and out of the property difficult as you have blind spot into a busy road.
    House not as clean as expected as there seem to be a high guest turnover with little time to properly clean and inspect the house. This also forces hosts to push guests to checkout at 10:00 which is not ideal if you have 12 guests.
    Otherwise very homely and will highly recommend and will definitely go back, safe for a few issues I raised above.

24. 5Truly a phenomenal house, very spacious and beautiful. There was a fire in the neighborhood and host was very responsive. The pool was cleaned every day as the ashes of the fire kept going inside the pool. But the best thing from this house was the housekeeper. She was so nice and lovely. We all absolutely loved her and will definitely return.

25. 5Merridew is a fantastic house with great views, nicely furnished with everything you possibly need. Our group of 10 had a wonderful time and plenty of space. Communication with the host was great and having a housekeeper was a nice addition.

27. 5We had a wonderful stay here. Everything was just on point. We loved our stay here. The hosts were very friendly and very responsive. The price was bargain for a place like this one and in this neighborhood.
    I’d be booking them again on my next capetown visit

29. 5It was a perfect location for our group of 3 families, 10 people in total. Excellent standard, all necessary facilities, basic electric equipment and wifi working independently of load shedding. Very friendly and supportive host.

    The backup power supply exceeded our expectations.
    The location is very good and is within walking distance to the beach and shops.

33. 5Location was good and the place was as described. The view was amazing especially during sunset. During load shedding the backup system is really good and you pretty much don’t notice. We had a fun stay.

35. 5Merridew was fantastic for our party of 12. Plenty of room for us all and we never felt on top of each other. Great pool. Comfy beds and pillows. Excellent well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook. Only a 10 min walk to Camps Bay if you wanted restaurants. Would definitely return again.

41. 4We had a good time at Merridew, Julian very welcoming, Lovely to have housekeeping from Isabelle. Camps Bay is good as a base.
    Remember how chilly it can be in Cape Town in August!!!

42. 5My family enjoyed our four (4) night stay in comfort. Merridew is spacious, well appointed, and beautifully furnished. In particular, I enjoyed the artwork and found each room uniquely themed. The house is within a 10 minute walk of the beach and local restaurants along along the main waterfront road. I cannot offer any greater superlatives/ recommendation, other than I would definitely re-book the property should I visit CapeTown in the future. Merridew offers tremendous value for your money.
