The beautifully renovated townhouse boasts a relaxed, holiday-living feel with stylish ocean-inspired décor in subtle hues of turquoise and blues. It also has two private parking bays in the undercover garage and access to a communal swimming pool and terrace with sun loungers.
The entrance level of the apartment has a bright and sunny guest bedroom with built-in cupboards and a private bathroom with a shower. A comfortably furnished lounge with an L-shaped couch and flat-screen television is perfect for snuggling up for TV/DVD viewing.
A stylishly decorated and spacious master bedroom is also located on this level of the Summer Place and enjoys gorgeous views from large sliding windows, which flood the room with natural light. The master bedroom has an ample walk-through closet area with plenty of cupboard space, and a large en-suite bathroom with a rain shower, a bathtub, and an enclosed toilet and bidet.
The second level of the townhouse is home to the main living areas, which are light and airy, and a third bedroom with en-suite bathroom, all decorated in cool tones of blues and greens. A modern kitchen is sleek and white with a large centre island and is fully equipped for a stress-free stay with an oven, stove, microwave, a fridge/freezer, wine fridge and ice-maker. Stylish stools along one side of the island provide seating to be enjoyed as a breakfast nook or bar counter.
The kitchen flows seamlessly into a casual lounge area with a plush couch and flat-screen television and a dining area where an eight-seater dining table is set next to the balcony with breath-taking views of the ocean beyond. Fully retractable, concertina doors allow you to bring the ‘outside in’ so that the balcony merges with the living space.
Summer Place, one of only six units in the complex, is fully secured and alarmed and has dedicated parking bays on the pool level with direct access from the unit. A short, easy stroll will take you down to the palm-lined beachfront of Camps Bay and its many restaurants, cafés, and buzzing beach bars, while the beautiful blue-flag beaches of Clifton are five minutes away.

5Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Haushälterin Yamie war sehr liebenswert und hat das Haus sehr sauber gehalten. Die Unterkunft liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, was man vllt beachten sollte wenn man geräuschempfindlich ist. Die Lage ist super. 5 Minuten zum Strand und der Promenade mit vielen Restaurants/Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Pool war von der Temperatur auch super angenehm zum schwimmen. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Worth a stay for a group or family holiday
5I cannot say enough how wonderful our stay was as a family! Our host Chuma was incredible – both professional but also so kind, understanding and sincere. We were hosted in a manner that was never short of friendly and respectful and we felt so welcome within the space, always greeted with a smile! The pictures do not do this gorgeous home justice. It is beautiful, specious – it has all you need to dine in or braai – the views are breathtaking and our boys loved the comfort of the 2 indoor lounging areas. We are so grateful we went with this apartment – so close to restaurants – walking distance to the beach – safe and tranquil – despite being so close to the bustling cafes and restaurants – We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!
5Check in was easy and the host was always responsive to our changes in check-in/out time and any questions we had. Lovely spacious apartment with great views of the beach from the upstairs balcony. Master bedroom is huge with plenty of wardrobe space. Excellent housemaid service every couple of days. Easy to walk to the beach and loads of fab restaurants. We didn’t walk back after dark but Ubers were plentiful and only cost about £2.50. I would really recommend Camps Bay as the place to stay in Cape Town and this apartment is a great choice if you have a family or group of friends. Only slight negative was the pool area which had no amenities and only one sun lounger – just something to consider if that is important to you. Also bear in mind there is no air-conditioning but electric fans were provided. Bonus was two car parking spaces in a locked car park with direct access to the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again.

4Pros: convenient location, great view, felt safe and secure, nice styling and furniture.
Cons: lengthy process to provide additional required documentation for every guest outside of airbnb site, inflexible check in, inflexible with adding one additional guest, wanted us to set a specific time when we would arrive (when we are travelling, we like to keep this flexible as we were road tripping along the coast), there was mould in the shower grout in all showers, the washing machine did not work properly, only on boiling hot setting and spin cycle not working so clothes were sopping wet, turnkey wasn’t helpful with a solution this. Also the cleaner washed and hanged out towels in the property, would have preferred if this was done offsite.

4Summer Place is a well maintained spacious and secure townhouse. It is within comfortable walking distance of Camps Bay (beach, bars, restaurants and shops) and Cliffton Beaches. A short drive/uber ride into Cape Town. It has a wonderful bay and mountain view from the terrace – perfect for sunsets. Also has a partial sea view from the master bedroom. Three bedrooms each with own bathroom (two en-suite). Good bedroom sizes for families or differing budgets between friends. Lots of light throughout. Excellent condition with minimal wear. Kitchen area was loverly and well equipped. Sitting areas were stylish and comfortable with easy to use entertainment. Shared pool area (via garage) was a little disappointing, but ok for a quick dip and afternoon lounge. The lack of air conditioning was only really noticeable on a few days, but all bedrooms had fans. The master bathroom was the hottest, but also had a Dyson cool that worked well. Excellent host services. We would definitely stay again ?

5Hosts were great—very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The unit was also quite modern and the amenities are up to date. In the winter, the load shedding schedule affects the heat so just be sure to bring layers to stay warm inside. Altogether a great place, especially being so close to the cafes/restaurants/beach! We would definitely return.

Its big, clean, modern, quite and equiped with everything you need for a memorable stay there.
The view is extraordinary as you have sea view from the balcony.
Samantha is a super good host which we could contact at any point in time.

5The home is BEAUTIFUL, clean and in such an ideal location! Samantha and Cailin were great at communicating and were so accommodating when we arrived late due to a delayed flight. I cannot say enough about how great our stay was. I hope to be back and would definitely stay here again!
