1Where to start! I would avoid staying at any Airbnb Turnkey property in South Africa for safety reasons. We notified Turnkey in advance of our arrival time. No one there. Left on the street for an hour with luggage. Turnkey claimed we were already in property. We could see pants hanging up but not ours!!!They had allowed another family to stay an extra day! They let us in then drove off leaving us with peoples laptops, dirty clothes and money! On the return of other family a tense issue. The pool was not clean and we had to wait hours for any cleaning to start. Terrible start to a trip and very unsafe to be left on the street. A lot of arguing to get Turnkey to realise they were in the wrong. They offered 3000 rand for the trouble but I said minimum should be refund of 1 night. Thats taken 12 days & still no sign of it. Airbnb & Turnkey should take peoples safety more seriously considering the robbery murder nearby on Francolin street on 28/12/25.

3The place was really well designed and matched the pics. Despite all the stairs, no AC on the main floor, and the bathrooms being smaller than expected, it was overall a comfortable stay. Unfortunately we also had several issues that dampened our experience. We had ants in the kitchen and bathrooms, a dirty pool, cigarettes left behind in the bbq by the last guests, door handles that kept falling off preventing us from locking external doors, and an AC unit that malfunctioned and leaked. We also had to wait a day to get a second set of keys so me and my guests could come and go at different times. The management company did rectify these issues the day after reporting them, which I appreciate but it made us uncomfortable to have random men in and out all day and having the housekeeper around all day when we just wanted to relax. All these things should have been done before we checked in.
5Simply stunning from start to finish. The property offers two entrances from the garage or a beautiful front entrance. The garage can take two vehicles, with an add, parking bay for guests. The TV/cinema room is compact but very comfortable, with cute touches like a popcorn machine and bar fridge. There’s also a well-sized ensuite bedroom with a private outdoor area on this level. The real wow begins on the first floor, where the staircase opens into a spacious second lounge, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The balcony is exceptional, featuring a braai, pizza oven, plunge pool, and loungers amazing. The third floor hosts two bedrooms. The main bedroom is spacious with ensuite includ. bathtub, the standout is the balcony offering stunning views, and for the cherry on the top was the wood burning hot tub. The final bedroom is comfortable; with ensuite, bathroom is slightly smaller, yet adequate. From the host’s hospitality to the quality of finishes nothing short of a 5 Star
