3. 5Carol was an amazing host and has an amazing home with breathtaking views. It had everything we needed as a group. Top notch security, a heated pool, lots of space, an office room to work out of, gym and laundry room, and all the rooms were thoughtfully furnished, with comfortable beds. We also had help everyday we were there with cleaning up.
   On our arrival we had complementary fruits, coffee pods, charcoal/fire lighters, and even laundry detergent. Not many other hosts are that thoughtful.
   If we needed any help or had any questions, Carol was promptly available to help. She’s a great host.
   Overall, the property was great and we had a great break! Thanks again Carol!

4. 5This place is an absolute gem! Our family of 9 (6 adults, 3 children) loved staying here. The place is unbelievably clean. The host (Carol) was very nice and took the time to greet us and gave us a good farewell. She was very responsive, even late at night. Cape Town is lovely, and without a doubt, a place we will look to visit again, and if we do, this is the place we will stay at.

5. 5We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this beautiful property in Cape Town even though our stay was short. The views from two of the bedrooms were breathtaking. The property itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
   Carol was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness truly stood out. The property is located in a quiet and safe area. The property is equipped with am alarm that has a quick response armed security service. We forgot to disarm the alarm a few times and for each time security arrived at the gate within seconds. I couldn’t find any faults with the property—it was perfect for our stay! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice property that can host a large group or family in Cape Town

6. 5What a fabulous spot to enjoy all Cape Town had to offer. Carol was warm and welcoming, the house is beautiful and there is lots of space for a large group to stay together comfortably. Every room is lovely, the outside area is fabulous and the views are stunning. Highly recommend!

12. 5Great location, and perfect place for a two families. 4 BRs on the first floor, and 1 BR on the main floor and 1 BR in granny flat (good for teenager). Carol was very responsive and friendly; easy check-in and check-out.

14. 5The house is beautiful! Exactly like the pictures, a great area and great place to enjoy. Carol is an amazing hostess, super responsive and open to be flexible when possible. We had a slightly problem with leak water in one of the bathrooms, but in a very speedy action Carol actioned maintenance right away. I would 100% recommend the house and would for sure comeback.

18. 5De accommodatie was fantastisch! Prachtig uitzicht en van alles voorzien. We konden een massage en een verzorgde bbq regelen via de verhuurder. Communicatie was top!
    Enige minpuntje was de grootte van de bbq voor 12 personen en de voorzieningen in de keuken. Er waren weinig schalen bijvoorbeeld waardoor we met het avondeten de salades uit een pan moesten serveren. De pannen bakten ook snel aan.
    Verder was alles super. Heel erg bedankt!

19. 5If you’re dreaming of a vacation where every detail is taken care of, The Cape Bali is the place for you. The moment you step through the gates, the cares of daily life melt away. From the well maintained gardens to the impeccably styled interiors, this villa is just perfect. The bedrooms were spacious and beautiful (we really liked the fact that one bedroom is separated !), the pool is amazing, and the pool area was ideal for our group. The solar-powered amenities and focus on sustainability were added bonuses plus the included cleaning service made our stay even more relaxing. We’ll cherish the memories of sunsets by the pool/balconies – the views were breathtaking, and the security measures gave us peace of mind. And again, thanks to the great battery backup, there was not a single energy interruption which was very important to us as we were all working during the day. Thanks Carol for taking care of us – regardless of the time. We highly recommend this place 🙂

20. 5What an amazing place to stay. We had the experience of a lifetime, I’ve never stayed in a place like it. It was very spacious, clean and opulent, a real treat. Carol was amazing and text all times of the day to help us when needed. Can’t recommend this place enough!

    It is big, spacious and decorated beautifully though out.
    Kitchen has everything you need.
    Security system is excellent – we felt very safe.
    Housekeeping staff were very friendly and proactive.
    We had an excellent family holiday and will recommend the Cape Bali to all our friends.

22. 5The Cape Bali villa is absolutely amazing! Location is stunning, easy to reach and to visit other areas of Cape Town by car or Uber. If you feel like, you can also walk down to Camps Bay beach or reach one of the Table Mountain hiking trail. Carol was a super host, always responsive and available to help. I would definitely recommend this place anytime!

23. 5Carol was an absolutely fantastic host and staying at The Cape Bali was one of the highlights of the trip.
    The property is spacious, well equipped and has amazing views all round. The housekeeper, Lillian, was extremely helpful and ensured the public spaces, bathrooms and kitchen areas were always spotless & Carol was always available at the other end of the phone to answer questions and queries.
    Couldn’t have enjoyed my stay in Cape Town any more than I did, and when I return I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather stay.

24. 5Our stay at the house was very lovely and peaceful. The scenery outside was also amazing, next to Lion’s head + the view on camps Bay. House was also very well decorated with beautiful furniture.

25. 5We originally booked our stay in 2019, but had to delay due to the pandemic. Carol-Ann honoured our booking and held our deposit until we could eventually visit in 2023.
    The house is exactly as described, its peaceful but easy access down the hill to Camps Bay. The security at the property makes you feel at ease for such a big house.
    The pool now being heated is a massive bonus, as we travelled with children and a baby. The house is by far the most child friendly we stayed at during our visit, and Carol even provided a makeshift stair gate for us which we didn’t expect at all.
    Can’t recommend Cape Bali enough!

26. 5The Cape Bali Villa is stunning, spacious and the perfectly located. Carol is a wonderful host who always responded promptly to messages.

27. 5We had a wonderful stay. 2 families, 4 adults and 4 kids and more than enough space. We didn’t spend much time at the house because we are active families but it met our needs perfectly. If you plan to spend a lot of time ‘at home’ remember the pool is chilly! The kids didn’t mind at all but the adults were in and out very quickly!
    We coped through load shedding, which you’ll experience everywhere in SA, but at least the house was well set up with loads of led lamps. It was a shame not to see the beautiful pool and garden lighting from the pictures, but such is life!
    We enjoyed the well equipped gym and the beautiful bedrooms. Beds were all very comfortable and the property was quiet and in a safe and well maintained neighbourhood.
    Also note one bedroom is ‘outside’ which is to say in the other side of a small outdoor quad. Despite independent kids we didn’t use that bedroom as it felt downstairs and out the way for kids wanting to be together.

30. 4Cape Bali is a beautiful location from which to explore the Cape Peninsula. Be sure to spend a few days enjoying the scenery and magnificent sunsets from the house. The home itself is beautifully furnished and comfortably accommodates large groups. Being a older home, there are a few small maintenance issues to be addressed but that did not detract from a fabulous stay.

32. 5These photos do no justice. The home is gorgeous. Amazing views of table mountain and lion’s head. We were able to request and reserve everything needed for our stay without any difficulty thanks to Carol. Great for large groups. Close to all tourist attractions and restaurants.

40. 5Lovely place. Stayed here with 4 friends, all of us were working remotely. More than enough space to not be in each others ways, even when in calls. Wifi very good, place gets cleaned every day, plus Carol was a lovely host, cheery, helpful, fast communication.
    5/5 would recommend

41. 5We had a wonderful time at the beautiful oasis of Cape Bali – a wonderful house with its own heart! Carol helped us with everything we needed instantly (eg the ACs in some rooms wasn’t working), sent workers to fix twice etc and made every effort to make our stay incredible! Even arranged an individual flower delivery for me ? The house is located in the Calm and save area of camps bay, up on the hill. Close to camps bay beach and even the city. Rooms are wonderful, three rooms with amazing view and also the other rooms are very nice – so perfect for a big group as ours or for family & friends! Neighbors didn’t like music too loud which is sad in summer time during vacation but also understandable 🙂 We even extended our stay! Thank you so much again Carol ? can highly recommend

44. 5This home was amazing.. from the designing to the space. We had a party of 8 and fit very comfy. Carol was such a delight .. help us with everything from shopping, restaurants and activities. Tanya was great.. she kept our rooms spotless daily during our reservation. I would recommend this villa to anyone and definitely be returning .. Thank you again Carol !!!

49. 5I was both impressed and in awe of the house. It looks exactly like the pictures. My friend’s and I thoroughly enjoyed the space and having both the ocean and mountain view. I personally enjoyed the small details like bathroom soap, tissue packets and swimming pool towels they made the stay feel more homely. It was also easy to communicate any issues with Carol and I would definitely go back in a heart beat !

50. 3The neighbour’s surrounded The Cape Villa compliant about our Afternoon/Dinner party outside( chatted too load and liquor was flowing) and that was 18:00 pm not even 22:00 pm like the house rules said we can do. My guest were very upset. But the previous night neighbour’s made also a noise till 21:30 pm.I am really disappointed. I think the host must really clear it out with the neighbour’s.
    Or just inform the neighbour’s the right of the guest in the Villa and handle the situation separate with the neighbour’s.

51. 5Lovely villa with a real authentic feeling. It is very specious and has a love pool and garden. Carol-Ann was very accommodating and was available whenever you needed her. We had a wonderful stay!

52. 5The villa is absolutely stunning, welcoming, and comfortable to the Nth power. I feel very fortunate to have been able to book the villa and have my celebration there. I received the best quality of service and Carol is a light. I would love to stay at the residence again. 5 stars.

53. 4Upon first view of the house we were pleasantly surprised as it reminded us so much of our trip to Bali. The pool was gorgeous but super cold and not sure how it was meant to be ‘heated’ the fire place in the dining room added to the lovely cozy atmosphere.
    With all the highs upon arrival we sadly soon came to realize not all was perfect.
    We were expecting some common amenities one would think to have in a house. Face cloths in the bathroom, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Kitchen cloths, wine opener as there was a wine cellar and a kitchen sponge. Also we were quite disappointed in the state we found the kitchen in, to the point where we were not comfortable cooking or using anything including the dishwasher before we had re washed everything before use.
    The host Carol however did go out of her way to rectify the mishaps to make us feel as comfortable as possible. This is a gorgeous house and would recommend the host stay there herself as only this way can you truly see what is needed to make it a spectacular experience for all guests.

54. 5For big groups/family visiting Camps bay, this is the one! We had an outstanding experience from start to finish in one of the most beautiful homes I have ever stayed in.
    The house is very luxurious, host extremely accommodating and we had a lovely lady who cleaned for us.
