1Sicherheitsrisiko, Baulärm, keinen Strom, Treppe bricht ab – absolutes Chaos, furchtbarer Urlaub.
In der Doppelhaushälfte finden seit 6 Monaten strukturelle Umbauten statt mit Bohren, Hämmern und vielen fremden Menschen Haus – ein Fiasko!!
Ein weiteres Problem war die Backup-Batterie, die uns von der Agentur im Falle von Stromausfällen zugesichert wurde. Diese funktionierte mehrere Tage lang nicht. Stattdessen wurde uns von Nox vorgeworfen, dass wir die Klimaanlage zu lange laufen ließen, was angeblich der Grund für die Fehlfunktion sei. Nach langem Hin und Her kam schließlich ein Techniker, der bestätigte, dass die Batterie längst hätte ausgetauscht werden müssen und einfach komplett leer war. Dies führte dazu, dass jede Nacht die Alarmanlage bei Stromausfällen losging, was uns große Angst bereitete, da Südafrika als eine der gefährlichsten Regionen der Welt bekannt ist.
Trotz Preisnachlass von der Agentur von 30% ein absolutes Chaos – auf gar keinen Fall buchen!
2Our stay with Nox Rentals was extremely disappointing. The listing was misleading, and the property had numerous issues. The sound system in the photos was disconnected, leaving only a TV that wasn’t logged into streaming services. The AC in the main house was broken, owner refuses to fix it, making the space unbearably hot, and the pool is unheated.
Construction was happening within the shared walls, with loud drilling all day. Workers claimed they were installing security cameras, raising privacy concerns. A strong sewer odor came from the laundry room, and essential amenities like face cloths were not provided. When i asked, they dropped off unwashed makeup towels.
Management was unresponsive, arriving without a gate key, adding to the inconvenience. Communication was poor as I spoke to Michael, Sihel, Fasheed and Clint, and Airbnb dismissed our concerns, siding with the host. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, and we would not recommend Nox Rentals or Airbnb.
5The villa is absolutely beautiful and like something out of a movie. It is even more impressive than the pictures. Everything about the place was great. Communication with the NOX team was so easy and appreciated.
