5A true diamond property in the heart of Camps Bay. This oasis was quiet, private and worth every penny. My family of 10 slept easily and there were countless places to chill out and relax if you want more alone time. Views spectacular. Amazing braai/bbq area. Top property and host. thank you.
5Several international guests who attended my friends’ wedding stayed a week longer to vacation in Cape Town. We were scattered around Camps Bay, with 5 couples sharing this Airbnb.
The experience was amazing and exceeded our expectations along every dimension.
The property encourages community through shared open spaces (the BBQ/pool area, open kitchen/dining/sitting room) where we built lasting friendships around the fire. Crucially, there are also quiet spaces (the rooms, the TV room, the detached office) where one could retreat to for work or to recharge.
The groundskeeper was enthusiastic and eagerly supported our stay.
The location is ideal. It is very close to Kloofnek road going over the hill to Cape Town and the Table Mountain cable way, without any of the insane traffic endemic to lower Camps Bay. It is close enough to Table Mountain nature that we finished our trail runs at home.
I wouldn’t consider staying elsewhere in or near Cape Town. It was amazing.
5Our stay at Esta-Marita’s property was truly unforgettable! The villa’s location was fantastic, making it easy to access various activities. The surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful, perfect for jogging and walking. The beach just down the road was a treasure trove of wonderful feelings, with stunning sunset views that left us in awe. The property’s landscape was gorgeous, and the views from the upstairs balcony – whether towards the majestic mountains or the serene beach – were simply a work of art. My family and I found the place incredibly user-friendly, and the host along with their team were always super helpful and friendly. A huge thank you to them for all their efforts – we truly appreciate it!
4Absolutely beautiful property with amazing views of Lions Head and great access to the city, beaches, Lions head and Table Mountain. The caretaker Robert was lovely and friendly. The kitchen was very well equipped. They left a few essentials for us which was a nice touch. Good quality espresso machine which was a nice touch to have. The house is really well maintained. Only issue is that there is no heating in the main part of the house which meant that it was very cold in the house as we were there in the winter. They supplied us some small space heater but they didn’t heat the space adequately even with the fireplace running. We were told that the in floor heating has been permanently disconnected for some time but a better solution for heating the house should have been provided for winter months. Overall though we enjoyed the stay very much.

5Absolutely stunning home, comfy beds/pillows with a beautiful view of Lions Head and the ocean. The garden also offered a lot of privacy as no other houses could look onto the house/garden. We were very happy with our stay and Elijah was wonderful at check in and check out!

5A spectacular stay with unforgettable views. The location is perfect, and the neighborhood is beautiful. The kitchen is fantastic if you’re in the mood to cook. The landscape and architecture of the property are breathtaking, creating a serene, meditative atmosphere. The housekeeping service was a wonderful bonus, adding to our comfort. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
5We stayed at the Le Thalo for a week, our stay couldn’t have been any better! The butler was very helpful, we returned to a clean home everyday, the villa is clean, modern and beautifully decorated. The garden is fabulous. We will definitely choose the same spot to stay in our next trip to Cape Town!

5We had an amazing stay. The housekeeper was such a sweet guy; always willing to help and friendly with our toddler. Access to the house was easy with the number provided and it was easy to book and make arrangements before getting there. Camping cots were arranged for us very quick when we asked for it. The service overall was just superior and we loved our experience there. Will definitely stay there again.

5We loved our stay!! The house and grounds are absolutely lovely and HUGE. Our group of 8 had more than enough room to spread out, hang out, and cookout – together or on our own when we needed a bit of down time. The views are stunning in every direction, they look like a painting, and the landscaping of the villa accent and frame them perfectly. I was a bit afraid that having so much space and privacy would mean that we were far out of the city center, but the location couldn’t have been better. We were a 4-15 min drive to everything we had booked, and a beautiful 20 min walk down to the beach. The views of the sunset over the ocean from the villa were *chefs kiss*. The property manager and housekeeper couldn’t have been kinder and made everything seem less and smooth. Will be back!

4This is a special house in a special location, with magnificent ocean and mountain views from almost every room. Well designed, spotless, comfortable and functional but also with that “wow” factor. The house is professionally managed and therefore without any of the inconveniences / quirks of renting from individuals. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5+ stars is that it is not well heated or insulated during the winter months; we were uncomfortably cold during the coldest nights of our stay in July. Other than this, the house was perfect.
5What an amazing home. Secluded little sanctuary at the foot of Lion’s Head that is as private as we had hoped. Relaxing to say the least, and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. Will be back again.

Die Villa ist traumhaft schön. Nach 11 Wochen Afrikareise wollten wir einfach nur ankommen. Die Villa, der Garten, der Pool, der Pizzaofen alles war perfekt und hochwertig. Die Fotos geben einen guten Einblick. Die Villa liegt sehr privat in einer Villengegend. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und genau so, wie wir es uns gewünscht haben. Gleichzeitig ist man in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto in Cape Town oder an der Basisstation des Tafelbergs. Unter der Woche gibt es Housekeeping was tatsächlich sehr angenehm war. Wir können die Villa zu 1000% empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

THIS PLACE IS BETTER THAN THE PICTURES!
Only cons- only rain head showers heads some days I didn’t want to get my hair wet. Power outages everyday not the Airbnb host fault. The country is use to it but new to Americans. If you have bad knees not a place for you many stairs.

5Amazing place to stay. It is safe and really private. It has somewhat of a bali kind of vibe to it, which is really relaxing. The house is extremely well equipped and the interior is very well thought of.

It is perfectly located in Camps Bay with just a short drive to Cape Town. We hiked Table Mountain which was so close and we also hiked Lions Head which was just around the corner. The house was relaxing and has so many beautiful sitting areas that it was hard to choose where to go. Esta- Marita was always available with any questions or needs we had. Robert the house keeper was a big bonus who cleaned up after us and had the fire going each evening when we came back from our adventures. We would highly recommend this beautiful home if you are desiring an over the top destination at Cape Town.

The house is beautifully laid out and the decor is superb, in fact the photos don’t do it justice. I traveled with a bunch of friends and we really enjoyed the outdoor /braai area. We had a yummy winter cookout and watched many spectacular sunsets.
The staff was extremely helpful on a daily basis. A big shout out to Mr Robert, whose the housekeeper on the property. He is very friendly and always ready to give assistance.

5The house is in a superb location with views of the Lion’s Head as well as the ocean. The pool is superb and well positon protected from the winds. The outside amenities around the pool are great, especially the dining table under the huge tree. We had a fantastic family time.

The house is at the top of Camps Bay, and is totally private, with views of Lions Head and the Sea.
The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. Lovely pool, BBQ area and garden.
Included in the rental was was daily servicing by a very friendly housekeeper.
We took daily morning walks through the forest (50 meters away) down to the Sea (10 minutes downhill) and would walk/ run along the Sea, get a cup of coffee and then Uber home (Camps Bay is very steep).
Camps Bay is a great location. Beautiful and central.
Make sure to climb Lions Head. A 5 minute drive to the main access point to this Iconic Mountain.
Car rental, as in all of SA, essential.

5One of the best stays we’ve ever had as a family. We were not left wondering and I went to Chinese travellers! Everything with the food was absolutely perfect: the views of Table Mountain, the ocean and nature are spectacular; the villa is furnished to a very high standard and is immaculately clean (an attendant, Robert, lives on site and is incredibly helpful and a gracious host. We needed a blender to make fresh baby food and even though there was not one in the house, within 20 minutes of asking Robert managed to buy one! What amazing service!); the house is located within minutes of the great community of Camps Bay (excellent restaurants, beaches, shops). It felt like we were staying at our own house and we could not have had a better vacation.

5Most beautiful house I have ever stayed in. The decor is stunning, the house is homely, has beautiful views and it’s very comfortable. Lots of thought given to every detail. There’s more than enough crockery, towels etc. the pool is great, we spent so much time there.
It’s sparkling clean and the housekeeper was so amazing. Very sincere, respectful, humble and always helpful. Elijah helped us with checking-in and out, very seamless and easy process and he was quick to respond, flexible and considerate with times.
Its really the most amazing place we have ever stayed in. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s absolutely beautiful. The Sea Sky team made our stay extra special by sending me a gift and personalized message on my birthday.
