4th Beach Bungalow is situated on Clifton Fourth beach with views of the sea.  Enjoy the four famous Clifton beaches and take a stroll on the beach. The white sandy beach is just 20 steps away.  This stylish and modern four bedroom Clifton beach house rental is fully fitted with all mod-cons and boasts full sea views from the lounge, dining room and Main bedroom. The beach house has a pool on the upper deck where one can enjoy a sundowner or al-fresco meal or simply relax and tan.
This Clifton 4th beach accommodation compromises of four bedrooms all en-suite the main being on the upper floor and the other three bedrooms below.
Bedrooms are located on the first, and second floor. Bedroom one, located on the first floor is separated by frameless frosted glass sliding doors, this leads into the lounge area with uninterrupted views of the sea. Bedrooms located on the second floor either have garden views or frosted glass windows. The third and fourth bedrooms are inter-leading rooms, via a sandblasted glass door, perfect for families that would like to be near their children.
The lounge is large and cool, with sliding doors opening onto the terrace with the pool. The dining room seats 8 and leads out onto the terrace with the pool which has a great view out over the beach. There are 5 TV's in total across the bungalow; on the second floor each room has its own TV, the lounge area has a TV that pops up from the day bed sofa and folds back after use and there is one TV in the seating/bar area.
Housekeeping is available and inclusive Monday to Friday and optional over weekends and public holidays.
Each floor has its own kitchen which contains all the modern appliances, washing machine, dishwasher, micro, hob, oven, and fridge/freezer. The kitchenette on the second floor does not have a dishwasher, however, is serviced from Mon-Fri.
On the first floor there is a small pool and patio area with sea views. There is a Jacuzzi on the lower floor in a small seating area.

5Danie and Gabriel were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they were always responsive and helpful! We absolutely loved staying at Clifton Sand Villa and we can’t wait to book and come back again! Andiswa the housekeeper was also amazing and kept the place spotless during our stay! We had the best family holiday and would highly recommend booking your stay with them!
5Gabriel’s bungalow set the tone for a fabulous stay in South Africa. It was our daughter’s wedding and staying at Clifton Bungalow gave us the opportunity to relax before the big day in Franschhoek. Couldn’t have asked for a better situation so near to the beach and to see the beautiful sunsets. Gabriel and his team were so helpful and made sure we were really well looked after. Definitely a venue to be recommended.

4The place is in a great location on Clifton 4 beach. The house has plenty of open spaces to entertain or simply enjoy the privacy of the place. Additional 3 decent sized bedrooms downstairs (tricky staircase btw) and a hot tub.
Gabriel was a great host who met us on arrival and quick to communicate when required.
Down sides, the amenities are a little dated, especially given that this is a premium priced property. Quality vs Cost don’t match. So its overpriced. While Gabriel met us to show us the ropes, there is no Guide to refer to when unsure how things work. No dedicated parking which could be a challenge during high-season. 100 steps down off the main road to get to the house, which would be a problem for anyone physically challenged or with lots of luggage. Gabriel was very kind to arrange his security company to meet and assist us with luggage.
In summary, lovely place/host but overpriced and in need of amenity updates.
1very dated, extremely over priced, you have to walk down 100 steps in order to get access to the property. We didn’t actually stay at the property for that reason. Also the host demanded a 20,000 ZAR cash deposit on arrival without any prior mention of a deposit. One positive is the property is a few steps from the beach. All of the negatives unfortunately didnt make up for that however.
5Our stay at Gabriel’s home was truly amazing! He was very kind, responsive, and helpful from the moment we arrived at the property, even greeting us with a very nice bottle of homemade champagne. He also had a wonderful team of security staff that help you check in and monitor the area, which was very helpful. Gabriel’s home also has a lovely housekeeper who comes to freshen up the home daily. They all helped make our stay very enjoyable.
Gabriel was also kind enough to let us host an event (our wedding, actually!) at his villa which was just perfect! We hosted it on the balcony overlooking 4th beach and it was everything we could have asked for and more. The home itself is beautiful as well and as it is mostly glass, provides great views of the beach. It can comfortably host 8 guests or 4 couples however, only 2 of the 4 rooms have showers (but that was easy enough to share). It is literally a 1 minute walk down to 4th beach and a 15 minute walk along Victoria road to the main Camp’s Bay beach. Overall, this home was perfect for both our stay and our event 🙂 Thank you Gabriel for your hospitality and we are already looking forward to the next time that we get to stay in Cape Town!
