Bungalow 25 on 3rd Beach in Clifton is a gorgeous four bedroom beach house is located on Clifton 3rd beach. Offering a tranquil sea-side stay and is only a few steps away from the beach.
You enter the beach house through a wooden gate which opens onto a courtyard and pool deck which has dining furniture and sun loungers. The living area is accessed via the floor to ceiling glass stacking doors. This luminous open-plan space offers comfortable seating and spectacular views. There is also a fully equipped kitchen on this level.
On the second level of the house is an informal TV area with a study desk. Leading off from this area are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King bed, en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. The second bedroom has an open-plan bathroom and the third bedroom has an en-suite with a shower. All these rooms have access to a balcony with amazing views.
On the lower level of the house, there is a scullery, cinema room with plush couches, kitchenette and the fourth bedroom. This room has access to a private courtyard and separate entrance. There is also an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower.
All the bedrooms are decorated with their own style and opulent bedding. They also have their own TV and the entire bungalow has airconditioning.

5Paradise! We were blessed with 5 perfect days in Clifton. Location is superb, the view from the deck was so stunning we cancelled most of our dinner plans so we could enjoy this gorgeous home. Pool is nice and warm, and it’s literally steps to the beach. The house itself could use a bit of maintenance, but honestly this was a 15/10 experience. Wouldn’t change a thing, and would absolutely stay here again given the opportunity! Our group of 7 are all seasoned travelers, and this has been the most beautiful place any of us have ever stayed at. Perfect sunsets, and peaceful sunrises with a constant view of lions head. Bonus: Francis was super friendly and welcoming, and helped us feel comfortable right away.

5The Bungalow in Clifton is exactly as you see in the photos. A beautiful home in an idyllic location. On top of the great amenities and stunning views, the service was impeccable. David was always available and responded almost immediately leading up to and during in our stay. Furthermore we had an onsite welcome and tour from the property manager, Francis who was warm, professional and helpful. Overall as hosts I would say the duo went above and beyond for us. We’d have no hesitation staying here again, in fact we’d very much like to. 10/10 across the board.

5Davids house is probably one the best places we have ever stayed in. Our family of 5, 3 kids plus to grandparents, had an unbelievable time. The photos dont do it justice. Absolutely brilliant spot. Everything you can wish for. Right in the heart of Clifton, walking distance to Camps Bay, only a couple stairs with direct access to Clifton 3rd Beach, everything we hoped it would be and more. Great service, friendly engagement, always happy to help and super quick responses. We will definitely come back here – no doubt. Thanks for a great holiday.
5What an Epic location, and magnificent beautifully appointed house. Couldn’t ask for better place to spend with the family during our first visit to Cape Town, it has everything you could ever want and makes you feel right at home. David (and Francis) is a great and very accommodating host, this listing is highly recommended and we will definitely be back in the future if our travels bring us back to South Africa.
5David’s house was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed if not thee most beautiful. The balcony is unreal with a view of Lion’s head and Clifton 3rd. Excellent place for a reunion with friends.
5Beautiful villa with an amazing sea front view from the terrace – very spacious for 4 of us. Francis was super helpful upon arrival and explained everything that we needed to know. Great location to easily get to Camps Bay and Sea Point. As others have mentioned, there are a lot of stairs so be aware if any mobility issues (the stairs are however worth it for the view!!).
5We had a lovely stay at David’s place! 4 singles able to spread out nicely, the beach house offered privacy with cool spaces. The scenery is spectacular. Would come here again.

5One of these trips we will see Cape Town in their summer but their winter is still beautiful by the beach. David’s place is really amazing as it occupies 3 stories of the cliff just above 3rd beach. There are a LOT of stairs here. It is so worth it but know it’s not fun to carry down your luggage. Francis (house manager) was very helpful with everything. The heat was broken the entire time but David and Francis filled the home with portable heaters right away. We are going to miss sleeping with the crash of the waves as our soundtrack. It’s also a quick walk to camps bay and the shops and restaurants. If we came back for a Cape Town summer I would make sure to stay here again.
2Weird Experience.The Airbnb is spacious, in a lovely location and the manager Francis is delightful. However, shortly after arrival an odd series of events occurred. We arrived 2hrs after check-in and the place was a mess. Hair in the sinks and showers, messy yard, laundry still going, etc. There was a man in the back with his dog and some trash bags (who was “a guest”) creepily inviting my wife to go on a walk. Francis told us to carry on with our plans and he would get it all sorted. So we left for the evening. When we arrived back at night the power went out, which felt eerie. We checked to make sure load shedding was not occurring. It was not. Feeling panicked we tried Francis and David. We got ahold of David first. I had my friend who is from the area explain the situation. Admittedly he was a bit heated, but he was spooked about the events leading up to it all. David’s reaction to this was to kick us out once the power was sorted. We agreed to leave after we found a new spot.
5Amazing house in an even more amazing location. Coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean was great every morning. Special place super close to downtown.

5David’s place on Clifton 3 was like a little paradise. Francis was great help through out our stay and was easy to get hold of if we needed anything.
5The deck overlooking Clifton 3rd Beach was worth it alone. Such a beautiful location to spend our time in Cape Town. The home and bedrooms are quite unique. Francis was very helpful for check in and check out and was responsive during our stay when we had questions. David was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Would stay in paradise again!

5Wow! David and Francis were excellent to communicate with. Very clear instructions. Francis met us at the car and arranged others to help with our luggage. The home is down quite a bit of stairs but the move in process was quick. We had Paul always saving us a spot for parking. He really hustled. Bring tip money, these guys earn it. The home was more than we expected. The view is spectacular. More space than we expected. This was an amazing place to visit. Highly recommend!
2Maybe years ago a stylish and upscaled bungalow. Today a rather shabby place with lots of malfunctions such as lights, light switches, cupboards, sliding doors, shower doors, lavabos, faucets, chips in the bathtub with risk of injury and so on. TV’s, WLAN and backup battery very good. The cinema can no be used because of poorly adjusted subwoofers. Simply to little maintenance and obviously no investment made over the last time. On the outside: Outstanding view and very close to the exceptional clifton beach. The plants are dried up, simply no eye for details and a disorder around the bungalow. Old and uneven wooden pool deck with even holes in it. We all had small splinters of wood in our feets. The sun loungers, tables, chairs are rusty and old, half of the parasols were broken. At first glance an impressive property, at second glance a bitter disappointment. Because of these circumstances and the really poor condition of the whole facilities and infrastructure far too expensive.

5Everything was perfect for our party of seven. The beach house is beautiful easy access to all the restaurants in Camps Bay. Walking the beach in the morning climbing the steps for dinner…Oh how I miss it. My husband and I would definitely love to come back with our family to enjoy another spectacular vacation in Clifton, Cape Town. do not hesitate to book.
5David’s place was amazing! Few steps from the beach which was exactly what we were looking for. Would return 100%!
2The host is a problem. Our stay was marked by two bookend moments as it pertains to David. The shower door was broken when we arrived. We needed it fixed for my 73-year old mother-in-law; we didn’t want the door falling in on her and her spouse. At the end of the vacay we decided to wash clothes. The dryer was not working. The washer was fine. We contacted David’s helper, as David is not the one that gets the property ready for renters. Francis asked if it was due to load sharing. We said no and asked if there was something else we should be doing. Crickets! So, we contacted David through airbnb and the demeaning and disrespectful behavior began. Fast forward, we had to go to a 24-hour facility at 1:00 am to dry our clothes so that we could catch flights in the am. David thought there was no such facility in cape town though we have the receipts. He insinuated that he sees a pattern and we broke the shower and the dryer. I took videos upon leaving because he was so aggressive.

5Very nice spot basically on the beach! The attendant at the parking kept a spot for us so didn’t struggle with parking. If you love the beach this spot is definitely worth it.

4Maison très agréable avec emplacement et vue magnifiques ! Les chambres sont très confortables, et la salle de cinéma très originale et agréable. Rien à dire sur l’accueil et la propreté car tout était très bien. En revanche, nous étions tres déçus que la piscine ne soit pas chauffée comme mentionnée sur l’annonce. Nous n’avons pas pu en profiter car l’eau était très froide… C’est dommage car on s’attendait vraiment à pouvoir profiter de cette piscine.
5We stayed at David’s place for 3 nights, a family of 7. The location is superb and is nicely tucked away behind the mountain and sheltered from the CT October winds. Highly recommend.

5Absolutely beautiful home and setting by the sea, only steps from Clifton beach. Can’t fault it at all. Had issues with the Wi-Fi but David did his best to resolve and this is very minor by comparison.

5We spent a wonderful stay in this beautiful place ! The view from the terrasse is just one of the best of the area. Accommodation : spacious and clean ! Well decorated. The gym and the cinema room are very nice add-on. Internet : wifi available in every corner of the house Location : Clifton 3rd is one of the most peaceful and beautiful beach of Cape Town. Close to restaurants of camps bay if needed I would definitely come again and recommend this place
