Bungalow 69 on 4th Beach is nestled in the sought after suburb of Clifton, a well-kept pathway will lead you from the home's front door to the beach in just 44 steps.
After you have parked you take a short stroll down a quiet path to 69 on 4th Beach. The entrance of this beach house in Clifton is through large stacking doors facing the ocean. This door opens into the open plan living/dining room with bar. This spacious double volume room is furnished with cozy seating for 8 in the living room, 4 at the dining table and additional 5 at the bar. To the left of the Dining room is deck with a private pool, dining seating for 6, two sun loungers and two umbrellas.
The kitchen is also open to this room and has a breakfast bar with seating for 4 people. The kitchen is also fully furnished with all the essentials.
The Loft level has comfortable seating for 2 and is a cozy space to relax.
The Master bedroom is to the right of the living room. It is a roomy double volume with a King bed, TV and open plan bathroom. It has access to a small deck and stunning sea views.
The second bedroom is to the left of the dining room and has a Queen bed and en-suite bathroom. It also has access to the deck and amazing sea views.
The third bedroom is upstairs to the left of the dining room. It has a Queen bed and dedicated bathroom. This room has access to a private upstairs deck withf
large outdoor lounge chair. This balcony has magnificent sea views too.

5Kelly’s place is so stunning I briefly considered faking my own death and just never leaving. The views? Absolutely criminal. The home? Flawless. Kelly herself? A genuine angel who probably would’ve given me a kidney if I’d asked. Deducted one star because the pool heater was broken and my dramatic cannonball was met with the icy shock of betrayal. Still worth it, but my shivering was equal parts cold and emotional damage. 10/10, would freeze again.

5We all loved the villa 🤩 the location is breathtaking and the house was spotless. Even better than the photos. Clifton 4th beach is a 20 second walk and plenty of beach towels are provided. The view from the house is so stunning we stayed in several evenings and made use of the professional braai / bbq. Kelly was always responsive and helpful. Foster was amazing and it wouldn’t have been the same experience without him. It was very helpful to hire the 6 seater with James who ensured we got where we wanted to go always with a beaming smile. The Bungalow restaurant is a few minutes walk with padel courts next door. Camps Bay a 10 minute walk or short Uber ride. Overall the villa and all it offered made our precious family holiday an even more memorable time! We’ve all said we’d love to visit again 🥰
4Despite the stunning location, we had somewhat mixed feelings about our stay. The house largely matches the photos, offers plenty of space, and the view above Clifton 4th Beach is breathtaking. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, and the housekeeper, Foster, keeps everything spotless every day. Public parking is located right above the house; although it can be busy on sunny days, we always found a spot and the area felt very safe with a police post nearby.
However, apart from the superb master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, the other beds were quite uncomfortable and rather short (unless you are under about 170 cm). The terrace is also small and only has two sunbeds. A bigger issue was the lack of air conditioning in the other bedrooms. During a particularly hot week the house heated up considerably and our sleep was affected. The host was responsive and provided mobile AC units. Communication was mostly easy.

Stunning views over the coastline with breathtaking sights of Clifton Bay. The villa is very well equipped and offers everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We would definitely come back.

Allowed us to relax in a perfect private location with a 1 min walk to a beautiful beach (water is freezing!!)
If we fancied a change of pace we could walk into Camps Bay with a variety of restaurants and bars.

Communication was easy from the very beginning, and the host was extremely friendly, responsive, and always happy to help with any questions. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, which made everything even more convenient.
The location is excellent! very well situated with direct access to the beach, making it perfect for relaxing walks and enjoying the ocean anytime. The area is patrolled by private security 24/7, so we felt completely safe throughout our stay. It gave us real peace of mind, especially during evening strolls.
The house itself is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. It truly felt like a home away from home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, convenient, and welcoming stay.

5We are a family of 6 – with kids aged, 13,15,16 and 21. The place is very functional for a large family like ours. The beach is litteraly just in front of the house and there were tennis courts behind it, were our kids played. We hired the car and we had a driver – James. You won’t find a nicer or more helpful driver than him. We can warmly recommend the place and him. We stayed 6 nights and could very well have stayed longer. The only drawback, was that we were there during New Year’s and it was incredibly crowded, but that seemed to be the case everywhere.

5great host for a great holiday home
5We stayed for three nights and 2/3 we had stunning sunsets from the house and/or beach. The beach was a short walk down a flight of stairs. The beds were very comfortable and the house spacious for our family of 5. So nice to have daily house cleaner who made beds and refreshed towels. Great location for the restaurants and activities we had planned. Security on location who kindly helped us carry our luggage down (and back up) the long sidewalk and stairs to access the house. A couple of minor issues with secondary bathrooms that we alerted the owner to but definitely didn’t affect our stay. Would highly recommend!
4The view over the ocean was amazing, the villa was clean and nice but the is bad smell on the main bedroom, the villa was difficult to locate and the entrance is very difficult with lots of stairs especially with large bags, the owner was kind and cooperative
5Amazing views, beach access, and heated pool made for a wonderful getaway. Master bed/bath even have heated floors. Great little walk to Camps Bay to get some steps in. Great spot, don’t hesitate to book it. We loved it.

5We’ve stayed 3 nights and we loved it. The house was big. The rooms were spacious and separate from each other. The kitchen was fully equipped. Cleaning was arranged on daily basis. The swimming pool was heated. We’ll definitely look at booking again if we travel back to Cape Town.

5This was the 2nd time my family and I came to this place, and it was even better than what we’d remembered. Just LOVE this house. We instantly feel at home, the views over Clifton 4th are unbelievable, the beds and sofa are comfortable, the heated pool is divine…. We’ll be coming back here again and again and again. 5We had a lovely stay at this superb property. Kyle and Kelly were very responsive to any and all queries we had.
There are 2 ensuite bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs which share a bathroom. The views are incredible. We had some minor issues which were resolved very quickly by Kyle and Kelly. There are quite a few steps to the property so the car guard security men helped us with our luggage for a small tip. Felt very safe there too.

The house is in an absolutely amazing location on Clifton 4. Totally beach front and the photos almost don’t do the house justice. Lovely open plan living and an amazing master bedroom.
Our host Kelly was super responsive and helpful from start to finish.
And to top it all off we had Foster looking after us every day. Nothing was a bother and he really made our stay that extra bit special!

Views incredible and the proximity to the beach was great and we had a lovely dinner at the Bungalow, just down the road. Couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend staying there.

5The host communicated very effectively. From the day I checked in to the day I checked out, clear directions including videos. They were very understanding with the requests that I had and made sure to assist with everything. The place is beautiful and the small recommendations that I made were received well. The kitchen is well equipped and the master bedroom is very beautiful.
There are security officers around which made my friends and I feel very safe throughout our stay. There’s a flight of stairs going down to the place which we’re not a concern as Foster was there to assist with our luggage going down. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.
5We had an amazing stay at Kyle’s house. The house is exquisite!! Lots of complimentary toiletries, spices and all the little but useful things that you hardly find in other places. The views are awesome! Everything about this home is just beautiful. Kyle is also very kind and easy to communicate with. We didn’t want to leave this place, the week end was too short!

4The views from the home were magical! Amazing spot to stay, and the house is gorgeous. Kyle, the host was super nice, and Foster, the housekeeper, is a sweetheart. Please keep in mind to get to the spot from the parking lot there are a good amout of steps if you have a lot of luggage. Clifton is also a VERY busy beach! The closest grocery store is about a 30-minute walk away. There is one restaurant very close called The Bungalow, other than that you’d be looking at the strip on Camps Bay. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen and using the outdoor grill, even if it could use some extra love. The closest liquor store is in Sea Point. For the price, it would have been nice to have a bottle of wine waiting for us ? maybe next time! The shutters/doors can be a little finicky, and the master & downstairs shower do not drain well. The outdoor showers were a great substitute. We would totally recommend this spot and will stay again now that we know how to prepare.

Foster cleaned every day and made sure the pool was sparkling clean. There was an event on the beach and therefore parking was a bit of a problem, but Kyle organised a parking for us.
