1. 5Our stay at Nox Rentals’ Valhalla on Victoria Road was exceptional from start to finish. Communication was outstanding – the host was responsive from the moment we made our booking and remained available throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely team member who made the check-in process seamless and helped us settle in. The secure parking was easy to access, and the security personnel on the property were consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming. The apartment itself exceeded every expectation. The photos are beautiful, but they genuinely don’t capture just how stunning the place is in person. The unit is impeccably designed, spotless, and immediately feels like a home away from home. Waking up to the ocean and having direct beach access via the elevator made the experience even more special. Our stay was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Everything about the property is wonderful. We will definitely be back soon! ☺️

2. 3The location is exceptional, but the unit is in need of a furniture refresh. I love Nox, but this particular apartment was a bit disappointing. We faced several issues — the heater would turn off at random times, forcing us to take cold showers and check it every 6 hours or so. The master bedroom window wasn’t properly sealed, which let in noise since the AC wasn’t installed properly. The spare sheets weren’t clean either. They promised to fix all of this, and I believe they will.

8. 5This apartment is absolutely amazing. It has a wonderful view — the best in all Cape Town!
   Pluses are the elevator that take you from street level to your apartment, and then straight to the beach. This avoids the usual multiple floor walk to the beach.
   The beds are extremely comfortable.
   The only downside if you’re there in the heat of summer, is that there is no air-conditioning. The sun beats into the apartment in the afternoon.
   The apartment is very expensive, but not out of line with the ever increasing prices in Clifton.

9. 5Wir hatten 5 tolle Tage in der Wohnung, wir haben es genossen morgens mit dem Blick auf den Strand zu frühstücken und mit dem Wellenrauschen einzuschlafen. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt.

10. 4Ocean Breeze is in a great location in Clifton, and is exactly as described, very spacious, comfortable, well equipped and maintained; direct access to the beach, covered car park and 24-hour security were also appreciated. Directly overlooking the sea, the view from the balcony is wonderful, particularly at sunset, and the continuous sound of waves crashing ashore is very relaxing.
    We encountered a couple of glitches in communication on arrival, one with check-in and one because we had not received information regarding temporary construction work in and around the building. Although this was somewhat disappointing, once we had contacted Nox about it, they were very apologetic and promptly offered a construction discount for the inconvenience caused, as well as sorting out an operational problem within the apartment. The friendly Nox team responded very quickly to any communication we had with them during our stay.
    We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to others.

11. 5the views are amazing, the pictures don’t do justice. place was abit dusty which is expected as there is construction in the common areas. needs abit of TLC to match the location.

12. 4Excellent property and great price compared to similar beachfront in Clifton. Very comfortable, spacious, well equipped with everything you could need. Parking a huge bonus too and the security guards were helpful and kind. Check in was outstanding — the Nox rep was waiting at the driveway to the garage to welcome us. The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 is that the main feature of the apartment is the sensational view of the ocean from the floor to ceiling windows, and unfortunately, they were extremely dirty. It must be a challenge to keep them clean, and two windows on the kitchen side would require difficult cleaning from the outside which probably can only be done once or twice a year, but the main windows in front of the balcony are easy to clean and should have been cleaned before arrival. The rest of the apartment was spotlessly clean so this was an oversight. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again at the apartment in a heartbeat, thank you!

    However, the overall value for money was somewhat disappointing. The building itself feels outdated, and the surrounding area is currently affected by ongoing construction, which detracts from the experience.
    The accommodation is quite basic and doesn’t fully align with the expectations of a luxury stay, despite the truly breathtaking panoramic views.
    It appears that the owners may not be investing enough in maintaining the property or elevating the level of service to match the premium pricing.

Gas bottle knob on bbq jammed open which is dangerous- needs bedside lamps in second bedroom , new blinds in ensuite , replace front door lock & outdoor chairs – otherwise can’t fault. There was however renovation of apartment above with jack hammer noise & rubble falling onto our balcony for most of our 4 day stay but we were out most of this time so didn’t affect us greatly . Would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

27. 5Ocean Breeze is a stunning place right on the beach at Clifton – it’s clean, airy and spacious and the views are truly spectacular – we loved it. The NOX rep (BP) was lovely and we easily met up with her for a walkthrough. It’s a great location for Cape Town and although we did have a car, we often took an Uber into the Waterfront area (costing around R 100-120) to save us the hassle of parking. Security staff (24HR) really nice too on the odd occasion we needed to ask Qs. Overall the apartment will not disappoint and the position is difficult to beat (with nothing between you and the “beach”). It’s not a useable beach though fyi, at this time of year as the waves crashed over it the whole time we were there. As others mentioned, there’s a couple of minor niggles that need sorting soon (main bathroom fan not working, blind therefore rusty, TV remote need antenna installing or the receiver in cupboard does not get signal, wardrobe door handle broken). But fab place to stay 🙂

30. 5Great location with incredible view, the master bedroom was stunning especially during sunraise and sunset. It has access to private beach which is very quiet most of the time to allow you enjoy your time. The staffs are exremely helpful and responsive whenever we have a quetions. Will recommend to my friends for sure to stay here when they visit cape town.

31. 4The location of the apartment was superb but getting in and out on the busy road was difficult and the price you pay for staying at such a unique location. The apartment was clean with a great cleaning service provided. Sunsets out of this world, with a Weber on the balcony. The apartment is well stocked.
    Security is present 24 hrs. Direct access to the beach.
    Communication with the hosting company had to be done electronically without a dedicated phone number. Strange, but everything that was needed was accomplished in the end.
    Would recommend this apartment.

32. 4Absolutely beautiful position of the beach and sea. Can’t think that any other position in Cape Town could beat it!! Lift to the ground onto the beach is a treat of note. Apartment is serviced daily which is a great spoil.

33. 5Views are absolutely stunning! The place was very clean and included a housekeeper on the week days which was nice. Beach access was a plus and lots to do around the area. Nox are also very helpful and responsive! Would recommend 🙂

34. 5This is a beautiful apartment in a stunning location. The layout of the apartment and the furnishings is great. The only suggestion for improvement is to get better furniture for the balcony.

36. 4The location is absolutely amazing (the view wow and right on the beach) and the hosts were so helpful and responsive. Really well located for Camps Bay and Sea Point either side. The apartment could do with some modernization/refreshing as it is starting to look a bit tired. There was no tv in the living space and the small one in the bedroom wasn’t working properly. Bathrooms v nice however.

37. 5Lovely apartment, fabulous location overlooking Clifton First Beach. We were quite late booking and this place stood out. We were a little wary at first due to some mediocre reviews esp relating to the cleaning but a more recent review stated the place had had a deep clean so we took a chance and are so glad we did. The apartment was clean, tidy, well equipped and the location couldn’t have been better. The view was superb, access easy, security excellent. It had everything we needed, both bedrooms had sea views, both bathrooms had showers and the kitchen was well equipped. The barbecue on the large balcony is a superb addition, and having a washing machine and tumble drier also a bonus. The jewel in the crown had to be the private beach access. Check in was simple and efficient and the communication very good. The apartment is cleaned every day except Sun.

38. 4Vorab: die Lage des Apartments ist einfach traumhaft. Wir haben den ständigen Blick auf die wunderschöne Bucht von Clifton sehr genossen.
    Die Wohnung ist groß und luftig,aber die Möbel schon sehr abgenutzt. Mitunter gibt es Rost an einigen Möbeln,die Stühle im Esszimmer sind sehr fleckig. Den Preis haben wir gerne für die Lage bezahlt,die Ausstattung ist es nicht wert.

40. 5Beautiful beach apartment with stunning views. Right on the ocean so you can hear the surf breaking which was really nice. The apartment is somewhat sparsely furnished with limited kitchen supplies, the bed linens were a bit worn with a couple of holes, etc., but not terrible. A very nice apartment; I’d recommend it.

42. 5This apartment is definitely worth staying at. we saw some of the best sunsets. The beds were very comfortable, showers was great, BBQ on the terrace was awesome and the kitchen had everything we needed.
    Elton our host had great communication particularly when we asked for a later check-in time as we were slightly behind schedule. We would definitely stay here again.

50. 5Amazing condo with incredible view! The unit is kitted out with top of the line appliances etc. Very comfortable beds. We arrived late and I used their Concierge service to drop of food and drinks. All delicious Woolworths food, very affordable and convenient service. Loved listening to the waves all night. Cleaning service every day was amazing too. Will definitely stay there again

51. 5Отличная квартира на берегу океана с прекраснейшим видом. Отзывчивый хозяин. В квартире есть все описанное в объявлении, кроме стиральной и сушильной машины(хотя написано, что есть). Также не хватало самых обычных вещей как губка для посуды и тряпочка для стола. Мы были всего две ночи и у нас не было с собой таких вещей. Интернет работал не стабильно. Итог, есть недочеты, но вид на океан покрывает эти недочеты.

    Overall, our experience at Clifton Apartment on the Waters Edge (Ocean Breeze) has exceeded our expectations. The beautiful surroundings, the comfortable accommodations, and the outstanding service have made our stay truly memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we are grateful for the Nox team genuine care and dedication to ensuring a remarkable stay.

    The apartment is in need of some tlc and decor update. Only a TV in the main room, which is not ideal for families or friends staying in the flat.
    With a few improvements we would come back

58. 5We had a lovely week in the apartment, which is beautiful, modern and comfortable! The house feels welcoming and is a lovely space, well designed and spacious. The master bedroom has a majestic beach view. The beds are very comfortable, the bath rooms are very good, living and dining area and kitchen are very spacious and nice. The balcony outside is cosy and with a magnificent view. Elton welcomed us and was very nice and friendly! He was great at communicating to make sure everything was going smoothly for us. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Celia also came in daily to clean, she is a very nice person. All in all we had a wonderful stay and we recommend the apartment to anyone.

63. 5This place was great and well worth it. It had everything, great space, great light, amazing views and parking as well. We came with our two little kids and it was great for families as well. Balcony is totally safe and the views are dynamite. Host was communicative and helpful. Would def stay here again, even if prices in Cape Town post pandemic have skyrocketed, but that applies everywhere methinks. They could use a sound system and maybe a nicer coffee machine, but these are first world problems!

66. 5Amazing location right on Clifton beach. We had a wonderful stay at the apartment and only wish it was longer.
    The apartment was just as advertised and the Nox team were really easy to communicate with and accommodating.
    The apartment had all the amenities that you would need for a stay and there is parking for one car. We also found the location easy walking/ driving distance to Camps Bay and Sea Point where you find some lovely restaurants.
    Another perk was the easy direct access to the beach.
    We can’t wait for our next stay.

67. 5A great apartment in a great location! The house is modern, comfortable and well equipped with the latest appliances. With breathtaking views from all major sections of the house and direct access to Clifton 1st Beach from the ground floor. Centrally located, offering access to the best of Cape Town all within close proximity.
    The host’s communication is superb – from the initial contact, to instructions beforehand, to several messages during the stay to check up. I would highly recommend it!
