Please take note of the following important information: due to its idyllic location within a nature reserve, the residence may occasionally attract harmless insects. Although previous encounters with baboons have not been reported, their occasional presence in the area may lead to visits within the suburb. As a precautionary measure, it is advised to securely close all windows and doors when absent from the premises.
Lastly, kindly be aware that construction work is scheduled to commence on the plot behind the house in April 2023.

5Gorgeous view, and a lovely place. Plenty of shared spaces that were very comfy for chatting over tea or reading, or just contemplating the view. Pool was well maintained.
Note: Upstairs bedroom has a partial wall (doesn’t quite connect to the ceiling) so noise travels from the communal spaces into that room.
5This is such a fabulous location and this home had everything that you need for a wonderful holiday…..And the views! We had an amazing stay – our hosts were helpful and responsive when we had a couple of questions, but clearly did not want to interrupt or disturb their guests, which is something we really appreciated. Instructions and communications were clear and helpful, making arrival and departure seamless – It was all just…..easy. The house was comfortable with lots of room to spread out if required, was well equipped, spacious and well thought out. We especially enjoyed the choice of different outside areas to relax with a glass or two. I really hope we can return!

5This is a truly beautiful spot with all the amenities you need and a spectacular view. Sarah was very responsive and helpful and we had a wonderful stay.
4We were excited to stay at this gorgeous location and also it’s proximity to Le Colombe( on premises) however, due to the restricted power, we were unable to run some/all of the heaters. And we found the house to be incredibly cold. We arrived the first day, turning everything on, but then encountered the power going off repeatedly. Turns out you cannot run most of the heaters and or any appliances simultaneously. ( 40 amp breaker for whole house).Regarding the cleanliness. The beds are incredibly comfortable, great shutters and blackout curtains. Well decorated and bathroom great. Do note only option for master shower is outside. So definitely not great for winter either. I’m sure the place is fabulous in the summertime but we could not make it work for us so found other accommodations and cut our trip short.

5The house is in an amazing position with totally private surroundings, a breath-taking view and it was very peaceful too. The house is lovely and compact with everything close together but with several different seating areas and dining tables. All the sofas and chairs were very comfortable. The beds were nicely made up with very nice bed linen. Sarah the host was super-friendly, responsive and helpful.

5Wow Mbali is phenomenal – photos don’t do the setting justice. The mountains surrounding the property are breath taking. On the doorstep of La Colombe which is well worth a visit. Shall definitely return to this piece of paradise.

5Mbali was an absolute haven with magnififcent views, all the comforts of home and felt home away from home. Apart from some contruction work nearby during the week we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately be back.

5We hebben het erg fijn gehad in het verblijf. Lekker gezwommen in het zwembad. Heerlijke ruime woonkamer en mooie kamers. Erg net opgemaakt en goed schoon. Het huis voelt veilig op een bewaakt compound. Coral was onze host van het verblijf. Zij was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

5We had a great stay! The villa has superb mountain views from every room/bedroom (also super comfy linen..) and is beautifully designed with everything we needed in the kitchen. Location is great with THE fine dining restaurant on the estate in walking distance as well as several vineyards nearby. Loved it and will come back!
5We had a lovely stay at Mbali lodge. The house is very well equipped, comfortable and clean. The house is built in a mountainous region, so be prepared to drive up some steep hills to reach the property. Unfortunately for us, the weather was not warm enough for us to make full use of the swimming pool, however can see how lovely it would be to use in the warmer months.

5Folks, local and International travellers, this place is astounding! Honestly the most magnificent home, in the most beautiful setting with spectacular views! Beautifully furnished, heaters and a fire place. The location is also strangely central and getting places was quick and easy. Coral was amazing, checking is in and greeting us on our departure. She also advised us on places, restaurants et al. If you are coming to Cape Town, look no further than 24 Mbali. Outstanding!

5This gem of a house in Constantia Nek is really something special. It’s worth staying here just for the view off the stoep (porch) across the valley and on to the back of Table Mountain Nature Reserve. So peaceful and relaxing. The bird life is rich and abundant, and we often spotted a nesting pair of Verreaux’s Eagles circling overhead.
The house itself has everything you need. The beds, especially in the master bedroom, were some of the comfiest we’ve ever slept on.
Our hosts Vanessa and Nandi went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.. and were very fast to respond to any question or concern.
We’re already planning the return trip in 2023.

The chirping birds in the morning really made Waking up so special. The pool was absolutely perfect as it is very long and allows actual swimming. We will definitely be back and we’re very happy to extend our stay.
5this place is truly a gem. My family was so sad to leave, this really feels like home. The house has everything you need and more. The mountain views are like a desktop wallpaper, you simply can mt get enough of it. The location of the house is perfect, less than 20min drive to most of the attractions.
5We really enjoyed our stay at Mbali Lodge. Although it rained for most of the week, we were warm and cosy thanks to the fireplace and multiple heaters throughout the space. The views are breathtaking and the space was perfect for unwinding and recharging. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

5Couldn’t recommend Mbali Lodge more – we were so sad to stay, could have stayed for weeks! The most beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains and feels both secluded and extremely safe with security at the end of the drive. All the best places to eat are on the doorstep and if staying in then you have the choice of 2 BBQ’s ! Coral, our host, was completely fabulous, was so unbelievably welcoming and at the end of a phone call at any time of the day to help out. 5* all round !
