Within walking distance of the apartment there are a number of restaurants, shops and bars. Alternatively a short car ride can take you to the Table Mountain Cableway, V & A Waterfront or to the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay.

4Overall we had a good stay at this property. The house is well located, nicely designed and offers a high level of comfort.
However, there was a significant issue with the internet connection. The WiFi stopped working for almost a full day because the data volume had been used up. While the team responded and eventually resolved the issue, this should not happen in a property at this price level, where reliable internet is expected.
Communication was generally good, but the compensation offered did not fully reflect the extent of the inconvenience.
Overall still a great place to stay, but this is something future guests should be aware of.
5Amazing stay
5Wir hatten einen wunderbaren, kurzen Aufenthalt in 157 Waterkant. Von außen kann man die wahre Größe und tolle Einrichtung nicht erahnen. Ist man einmal im Haus, überrascht die Exquisite Einrichtung! Das Haus ist wunderbar eingerichtet, architektonische Highlights wie die Raumhohe Dusche oder die Fenster Bänder machen das Haus ganz besonders. Die beiden Terrassen überzeugen durch Privatsphäre, sensationellen Blick und gute Einrichtung. Insgesamt ist das Haus außergewöhnlich und sehr zu empfehlen.
5Très belle maison de ville située dans un quartier agréable, sécurisé et disposant de beaucoup de possibilités (bars, restaurants, centre commercial) à pieds. Tout est haut de gamme sur place et le permis de stationnement est un grand plus car vous aurez toujours une place disponible.
Belle vue du toit terrasse et seconde terrasse appréciable au niveau de la cuisine sur laquelle se trouve le bassin.
Seul bémol, la baignoire de l’une des salles bain ne dispose pas de pommeau de douche et n’a pas de volet pour obscurcir cette même chambre.
Concernant l’environnement, à noter qu’un passage longe la maison ou certaines personnes se trouvent dès le matin et où cela peut créer du bruit quand les gens dorment…
Ne pas réserver si vous avez des difficultés de mobilité car la maison comporte beaucoup de marches.

Almost dont want to say too much incase it is never available again for our future stays. But it is so beautifully appointed and well looked after that I highly recommend it to future guests.
5Wir waren 4 Tage in der Unterkunft in Kapstadt. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt direkt ein Cafe auf der anderen Straßenseite und die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse ist grandios. Es gibt auch in sehr kurzer Distanz einen Supermarkt um die nötigen Dinge zu besorgen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gab sogar Housekeeping. Gerne wieder!

5Our stay at 157 was incredible!! The location, the flat, the wonderful Signorial and Emanuel – AMAZING. Felt like living in a magazine. Liguiras restaurant, Yams and dim sum right out the front door. 10/10 – nicest air bnb we’ve ever stayed.
5This was a great stay. And I definitely would stay here again. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s in a great location with lots of restaurants right outside the door. The roof and the view of the mountain is incredible. Thank you for a great time.
5This place is better in person than in the pictures. Really well done decor and equipped with everything you need. It is clean – super clean. The location is terrific – easy walk to the V&A, or Sea Point, and there is a grocery shop on the next block. There is also a lovely coffee shop with lovely baked goods and breakfast and lunch right next door.

5We were in the accommodation for a week and enjoyed our stay a lot. The views on the table mountain are amazing and you can actually walk to the water front and have a lovely neighborhood. The Nox team made it very easy for us to communicate and helped us with every little issue that came up. I can highly recommend this and look forward to coming back

4Beautiful house and location with great views. The house is spread over two levels so not suitable for anyone that has trouble with stairs. The house also needs a bit of maintenance like the fridge and cupboard hinges need tightening and the guest bathroom handle fell off as we were being shown the space.

5This is an incredible property. De Waterkant is a fun area and it’s right next to the trendy Bo Kaap neighborhood. Our favorite was walking to Sheckter’s Raw for a light desert after dinner!
The house itself is pristine. 3 floors of beauty with the greatest 360 view of Cape Town from the roof. We didn’t use the private plunge pool due to lower temperatures, but it’s a great amenity.
We enjoyed the first leg of our honeymoon at this location and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality spot.

The good: The house is beautifully furnished and really well located.
The bad: The bedroom doors do not shut properly – they’re large sliding doors and have big gaps on the sides – there’s pretty much no sound isolation – we could hear each other snoring from the neighbouring bedrooms.
Also, the listing is inaccurate – only one of the bathrooms is an ensuite – the other is across the hallway from the bedroom (and also has the issue of non-closing doors).
It’s a pity because otherwise the house is great!
5This place was amazing, staff went above and beyond. I’m a Marriott member and this was my first Airbnb experience. I’m well traveled and will definitely recommend this location to friends. They even welcomed me with a birthday gift. The area was safe and plenty of restaurants for me to choose from close by. The pictures only shows minimal of how gorgeous this place is. I will definitely book this location again when I return to Cape Town.

Das eigenständige Haus besticht vor allem durch seine durchdachte Architektur, wir haben es wirklich geliebt und konnten uns gar nicht satt sehen an den ganzen Details. Wir haben uns auch noch nie so sicher gefühlt in Kapstadt, was wirklich ein großer Pluspunkt ist. Absolut zu empfehlen und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! 5This was a wonderful place in lovely Waterkant and Nox was extremely helpful and a great host.
We really liked the apartment and the fact that it had access to both a wonderful sun-deck as well as a small swimming-pool! Lovely to be there in the late, sunny afternoons and just relax!
The area (De Waterkant) is calm and very nice with great restaurants and bars close-by. When going to further places, an Uber is just 2-3 minutes away (and cheap).
Nox was very good in communicating and the staff very helpful both during check-in and check-out! We asked for a late (one-hour) check-out which they were very kind to accomodate.
All in all: A fantastic apartment, location and host. Strong 5 stars!

Street parking was not as bad as we expected, but you do have to make sure there is NOTHING of interest in your car to warrant extra attention.

5Absolutely wonderful property, we had such a great time in Cape Town made even more enjoyable staying here. The house is in a great location, a short Uber ride away from the V&A waterfront on the most beautiful, colourful street.
Inside, the interior is perfection. Was totally blown away by the whole feel of this gorgeous house. Check in and check out was made so easy by our host, Marco. I left some items at the property by accident and Marco made it very easy for us to come and collect them that same afternoon.
Overall, there was nothing that could have improved our time here and when we return, we’ll be sure to stay at Waterkant again.

Everything is as it looks, location is in the heart of De Waterkant with everything you need (and don’t haha!) within walking distance. And the team is an absolute dream team. All very professional and always happy to assist. Big up to Tracy, Emmanuel and Jaco!
Things to note, there is no parking which can be a hassle if needed. Second bedroom only has a bath.
Couldn’t ask for a more luxurious, convenient, and comfortable Airbnb! Enjoy it 🙂

5Best Air B&B I’ve stayed in so far. The location was GREAT !! It tends to get cold in the winter so I would advice that you gear up but overall it was such a great stay. The apartment is clean and spacious with very warm interior making it extremely cozy!!

5Sheri’s place is conveniently positioned near the Cape Quarter for your groceries and shopping and some great Restuarant’s in walking distance.
The Aparment is extremely stylish and with top quality furniture and decor. A very cool and well priced place. Clean and has all you need to stay in for a dinner or go out. The upper deck has great views and pool level great for outdoor dining.
Would love to stay again.
