5. 5My family and I recently spent three wonderful days in a beautifully appointed three-bedroom apartment in the heart of De Waterkant, Cape Town, and overall, it was a stay we will remember very fondly. The apartment, managed by the Nox management company, offered an exceptional combination of space, comfort, and location, making it an ideal choice for a family getaway in one of Cape Town’s most charming and vibrant neighborhoods.
   From the outset, the apartment made a strong impression with its generous proportions. The three bedrooms were exceptionally spacious, offering more than enough room for our family to settle in comfortably. Each room felt thoughtfully designed, with ample storage and a calming atmosphere that made it easy to relax after busy days exploring the city. The communal living areas were equally impressive, providing a welcoming space for us to gather, spend time together, and truly feel at home rather than like temporary visitors.

6. 5I’ve stayed here years ago but my boyfriend booked back then. Extremely great communication from them. Check-in was easy and pretty clear instructions. They also left a small cute surprise since it was my birthday so they truly went above and beyond to make me feel not only welcome but special. Will definitely book again due to their great hospitality.

Some improvements: curtains in all bedrooms and living room; better lighting outdoors (my friend broke his leg at exit because there wasn’t enough lighting); internet was shut off a couple of times because it needed to be filled up with credit which interrupted some of our important work calls. But overall, great stay and would recommend it to others (noting that there are a lot of stairs to move between rooms a main living room)! Would still book here again, but think value for money isn’t as good as other places.

9. 5Wow! This villa was absolutely incredible! I stayed for three days and honestly didn’t want to leave. The design of the place is amazing — every corner looks stunning, and the spaces are so wide and open, which makes it feel super comfortable and relaxing.
   It’s even better than the photos — super clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. The vibe was perfect, and everything was well organized.
   The host was amazing, very friendly, and quick to reply to any questions. It really felt like home, but better!
   I’d 100% recommend this villa to anyone visiting the area — I’m already planning to come back again soon!

    We had a fantastic stay! The home was exactly as described—modern and beautifully decorated with throughout.

    Although on a steep hillside, the location is unbeatable: walking distance to great cafes, restaurants, and the V&A Waterfront, yet quiet and peaceful at night. Views of Table Mountain from the roof terrace were a bonus.
    Check-in with Clapperton was seamless. During our 2 week stay, he checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed.
    Nox, the management company, was communicative, helpful, and clearly cared about creating a great experience. They were responsive to the couple of issues we had with the house keys and Wi-Fi.
    De Waterkant is such a charming, vibrant neighborhood, and this home made it even better.
    I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town who would appreciate a multi storey home with no lift!

21. 5Pasamos 4 noches en este departamento. La decoración, el equipamiento de la cocina, la terraza, todo impecable. es súper acogedor, cada dormitorio con baño en suite. Solo le faltaría un baño en la zona social. Es importante aclarar q tiene 3 niveles, no recomendable para personas con movilidad reducida. La zona es encantadora, muy segura, con un súper a 150 mts, bares y cafeterías!!

22. 5Our Nox accommodation was fantastic, beautifully designed and furnished, with stunning views of Table Mountain and the city.
    Opening the kitchen up to the plunge pool created a spectacular space to relax with our family as well as the lovely terrace area on the roof.
    The Nox team were super efficient and always available, and our accommodation was spotlessly cleaned daily.
    We had an amazing time and would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Both PJ and Zizipho were really helpful and made our stay at 53 on Napier a pleasure. We felt very safe and secure in the apartment. The terrace / rooftop space is lovely as are the views from there. I would stay there again for sure.

41. 5This apartment is a gem! This area of Greenpoint is safe and quiet but also has nice cafes and shops. The house is beautiful, we thought better than the photos. Great design and decoration, all three rooms are very big and have their own bathroom. The fireplace was perfect for cozy nights in and if you are lucky to visit in the summer the pool and rooftop are priceless. Communication with NOX staff was always easy and quick. All in all a great experience, hope to be back soon!

We booked an AirBnB with them and they emailed us shortly after to let us know that there would be some construction happening and if we would like to change to another property we could. We deeply appreciated that honesty and ended up at 53 Napier, it was an absolute dream! The place is stunning, so clean with housekeeping daily, the check-in was so smooth and the location is perfect. We were a group of 6 and it felt like there was so much space and everything worked perfectly! Such an incredible stay.

A special thanks for the service; prior to our stay, we were in a desert for a week with no signal, so our estimated time of arrival was quite short-notice. Sinethemba & Peter were very understanding & flexible. Thank you!

51. 4Beautiful spacious apartment – better than the photos! Rooftop is stunning. Loads of amazing restaurants, bars and shops in immediate vicinity. Only Downside is noisy neighbours and minimal noise insulation on the interior and exterior. Could hear the neighbours all night. Bedroom doors also need oiling. Would recommend to anyone looking to be ~5min drive to the waterfront.

    The art & attention to detail is immaculate, every bedroom is big & spacious and has their own private bathrooms, high ceilings, the kitchen is the best equipped in any airbnb I’ve seen, and theres an amazing rooftop with perfect view to Table Mountain. The pool offers a nice treat on warm days, and the house is located in a nice neighbourhood that feels safe.
    We really enjoyed our stay here, and hope to return here the next time we are in South Africa! ?

59. 4Really enjoyed our stay. If i could give a higher rating than 5 for the location and cleanliness I would’ve! Jaco was super awesome welcoming us and walking us through the house.
    It’s a petty there is no grill up on the rooftop, if there was, this would’ve gotten 5 stars for sure.
    Maybe just have a look at the sliding doors to the bedrooms, it takes 2 people to move them open and close.

    Only issue was communication, we had an issue with the wifi and non of the hosts were willing to provide assistance, we spent 2 days without wifi. We also had to use our own streaming services

68. 5Beautiful property, magnificent finishes and so tastefully decorated. It really felt like home away from home and we looked forward to returning every evening. On a nice evening, the rooftop has spectacular views. The area has a special vibe and quaint restaurants and shops are all a stone’s throw away. I was nervous about leaving my borrowed car in the street, but there was no problem at all, there is a security guard who patrols the street. You will not be disappointed with this one!

69. 5Avoiding the cliché, but the photos really do not do the property justice! It was beyond our expectations. My brother and I have previously stayed in the De Waterkant (ideal safe city location), but this was easily our favourite property. Great living spaces (kitchen, living room, rooftop terrace), amazing high quality finishes throughout, and the bedrooms with comfortable king beds all with en-suite provided much needed peace of mind for each guest. Without question we will be back and explore what else Nox rentals has to offer! Great stay, great hosts.

70. 5The photos certainly don’t do it justice – it is an AMAZING place in every way. Certainly the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in – beautifully air conditioned – amazing location close to shops and waterfront, gorgeous views – pristine. It lacked nothing.
    I’ve stayed in some great places but this had to be the BEST. Can’t wait to return.
