Main bedroom/en suite bathroom (victorian bath, toilet, bidet and twin basins) and two additional double rooms (one with double bed and the other with two singles) with shared bathroom (bath with overhead shower, toilet and basin) and sun-room (with comfortable seating) are located on the first floor. Ground floor comprises of entrance hall, guest wc, living/dining room, open plan fully equipped kitchen/breakfast area, opening onto a timber deck and outside BBQ area and an enclosed garden overlooking False Bay. The deck has a large table and 8 chairs – sit and enjoy the view over False Bay. In addition, there is a garage/laundry room and a tandum off-street parking bay.

The home is equipped with wifi and limited DSTV. The property is secure, with garden beams, camera surveillance and armed-response burglar alarm. Fintimara is a classic False Bay seaside home, located in Kalk Bay, South Africa, Cape Town’s oldest seaside resort, known as “The Brighton of the Cape” in the mid 1800’s.The home is conveniently located midway between the Cape Town CBD and “The Southern tip of Africa” Cape Point, on the shores of False Bay. The location, on the Main Road, adjacent to the historic Simons Town – Cape Town railway line, provides easy access to nearby beaches, Cape Fur Seal and African Penguin colonies, as well as some of the Cape’s oldest vineyards.

Several of Cape Town’s best known sporting events pass Fintimara and can be viewed from the first floor balcony. These include the Two Oceans Marathon, the Cape Argus Cycle Tour, The Big Walk, Peninsula Marathon and many more. Fintimara overlooks Kalk Bay common and False Bay, with its seasonal Southern Right Whales and the Hottentots Holland Mountains in the distance. Fintimara is tastefully furnished in a style reflecting its historical context and housing numerous artifacts, books and artworks.
