French Breeze is a stunning 4-bedroom home set in the peaceful surroundings of Glencairn, just 60 minutes from Cape Town city center. This beautiful property offers breathtaking views over False Bay, making it perfect for relaxing on the deck with meals or enjoying the cozy indoor braai and fire pit during the colder months. The house comfortably accommodates up to 8 adults across four well-appointed bedrooms, with additional Snoozas available for kids.
The spacious main bedroom features a king-sized bed, a luxurious bath in the center, and two modern wet showers with jets, while the second and third bedrooms share a bathroom. The semi-private fourth bedroom, accessible via stairs next to the house, provides a secluded space for added privacy.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering stay, including a fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, and a single cooking plate that works during loadshedding. Guests also have access to a dishwasher and washing machine. Outdoors, a sparkling pool and trampoline offer entertainment for the whole family, with expansive views from the deck for the perfect backdrop.
The house is designed with convenience in mind, featuring a small lift from the garage for those who prefer not to use stairs. It is also loadshedding-proof, powered by an 8kW solar-powered inverter system that keeps most essentials running during power outages. You’ll have access to lights, wall plugs, fridge, freezer, microwave, TV, internet, alarm system, and even the lift. However, air conditioners, ovens, and jacuzzi pumps will not function during loadshedding. The solar-powered geysers store 300 liters of hot water, enough to manage through short outages.
French Breeze is a self-catering accommodation with refresh services available for stays longer than a week, and housekeeping can be arranged upon request. For entertainment, guests can sign in to their own DSTV or Netflix accounts. The pool, trampoline and hot tub were a huge hit. Just to note the bedroom with the 4th bedroom with the 2 signal beds is separate to the main house. You access it from outside. We did not realise this until we arrived. Fantastic host, Sarah! Very responsive! Thanks for a lovely stay!

5Sarah is a great property manager, very responsive, hospitable and flexible. Glencairn is peaceful and safe neighbourhood with beautiful beach without many people. House has kitchen with modern equipment, two big bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (one very private in a separate building), and two small ones with one small bathroom. Furnishings are simple, normal for rental property. Kids enjoyed swimming pull, build-in trampoline and bonfire place. In addition you have a inside 4 people jacuzzi and beautiful view. One of the nicest airbnbs in Glencairn

4We loved the accommodation and so did our family. The hosts kindly allowed us to have a small, intimate wedding ceremony on the premises, which made the experience extra special.
Sarah, who assisted us during our stay, was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Her communication was excellent, and she really went the extra mile to make us feel at home.
A few things to note: the geysers run on a timer, and since we visited in winter, the water got cold in the evenings. I ended up showering in cold water around 8:30 PM, but Sarah quickly helped resolve it.
The house is spacious for eight, but we experienced some power limitations. Plugs and aircons tripped, and while 100 electricity units are included per day, usage felt restricted due to system overload risks. Not all the heaters worked, but beanbags were also provided which was very helpful.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality.
5What a tremendous stay! The highlight of our South African trip. Beautiful view! Comfortable, with plenty space for each member of the family. Perfect location with many nearby beaches to choose from. Thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi, especially aftee kayaking. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

5The house is the perfect base camp to explore the Western Cape. Located in a quiet neigborhood on the flank of the hills of Glencairn, it provides a stunning view on False Bay. There are many attractions close by (10 – 30 minutes’ drive) as well as shops and restaurants. The house itself is very tidy and spaceous, with modern appliances and very comfortable beds. The owners have very good taste and have included a lot of modern design features in their home. The house also has solar pannels and a battery ensuring power stays on, even when the electricity gets occasionally cut off. Sarah, our contact, was very friendly and helpful . She also punctual and responded very quickly when we had a question. All in all, a very positive experience. For those who want to discover the region of Cape Town, I highly recommend the place. When I get back to the region, I will certainly try to rent the house again.

4Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Die einzigen Punkte die nicht perfekt waren:
-Küche war nicht gut aufgefüllt / vorbereitet (abgelaufene Gewürze, mini Öl etc.)
-Zimmer und Größe für maximal 3-4 Personen. Alles andere ist viel zu eng und viel zu wenig Stauraum für mehr Personen
-immer sehr windig auf der Höhe
Wir hatten einen tolle Zeit dort und es war sehr sehr sicher und durch Alarmanlage und co sehr gut geregelt. Wir hatten zu keinem Zeitpunkt Angst oder haben uns unwohl gefühlt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren auch in 2-10 Fahrminuten erreichbar.
5What a spectacular place to stay! We loved our time here and would definitely be back. The hot tub and trampoline went down an absolute storm with the kids and inside braai area was ideal for windy days. Waking up to that view right from bed was heavenly! The kitchen is super well stocked with an amazing coffee machine and Sarah who hosted us was super responsive. We had a couple of challenges with water & electricity (fault of the local area not the property) but the backup power worked great and Sarah couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful to deal with issues promptly. It’s super well located to get to Boulders Beach, Kalk Bay, the Cape Point vineyard and loads of lovely spots to visit.

4It was a fabulous holiday with the kids with lots to do in the area. The house is well fitted with lots of modern cons. There were some issues with water as the municipality was working on pipes.

We got information about what we could do before we actually got to Cape Town. This was highly appreciated. Our experience was absolutely amazing, and would not think twice about being hosted by Nandi & Elmarie Experience Creators’s.
Pulling back the curtains every morning, and being greeted by the beautiful mountain range and the ocean was just phenomenal! Looking forward to another visit, hopefully in summer so we can enjoy the evenings, sitting outside by the pool!

5What an amazing house! We stayed here for 3 weeks, and it had absolutely everything we could possibly need! The area is beautiful and safe, and the security features of the house (locking gates, alarm) just added to that feeling of safety. There is loadshedding here (national power outages to save electricity) which affected us daily but in this house it’s a non-event with the battery backup kicking in and covering the whole house. It’s also an entertainer’s dream so if you have family in Cape Town, they will feel right at home (as we did on a couple of occasions). Coral, the host, is extremely responsive (even on a Sunday evening) and would send over reminders to take out the trash etc. I can’t recommend this place enough, if I could give it 10 stars, I would!

5Beautiful home and responsive host. Very secure and private , felt safe. The pictures do the views no justice. A bit far from the city center and difficult to catch taxis late at night but if planned correctly, it shouldn’t be an issue. Lovely home
4The place was gorgeous. It has amazing appliances for those who like to cook. The jacuzzi was the highlight of our stay. Couldn’t jump on the pool because of the not so warm weather.
The beaches are close by by the weather didn’t allow.
The place is very far from Cape Town and any Cape Town related activities.
Would advise anyone to hire a car as Ubers are problematic and make sure you buy plenty groceries because checkers 60 may or may not come or Uber Eats are very limited.
The rooms were a bit smaller than expected, save for the master bedroom and loft outside.
There is an elevator that leads to the entrance and not great if you’re claustrophobic as it lives quite slow.
The loft outside is a more modern part of the house and so very nice to stay in.
The tv is quite small and internet connection in the house kept buffering so we connected with our own phones.
4Very stunning place. Peaceful and beautiful seaside. TV had no DSTV nor channels you have to bring your own DSTV card. Apart from the TV issue, all was perfect and Coral was a wonderful host!

5Our stay at the house was lovely. The views are incredible and a sight to see! Lots of windows overlooking the ocean and mountains. The amenities are nice – unfortunately we went during winter months and were not able to use the pool or much of the outside, but the grounds are beautifully landscaped with native flowers and trees.
Coming from the states – we had to get adjusted to load shedding but the house manager provided us with an app to be able to track.
The house is a little challenging to lock up when you leave – as there are several different keys to different doors, elevator you need to navigate and think about during load shedding but we figured it out.
Would recommend.

5Beautiful place – great location. A quick drive to restaurants, beaches, provisions. Outdoor space is beautiful. Pool did not get used as it was chilly, but it would be fine on hot days. We used the hot tub, which was lovely (once we figured out temp control). The site caretaker was fantastic. He came quickly anytime we needed anything, including helping us get back in when we somehow magically locked the keys inside (which really isn’t possible, but we managed). The neighborhood is very pretty and quiet — loved it. You can’t help but enjoy yourself!
5Fantastic place to stay, will definitely be back. Everything was as it was described. The views are simply incredible, found ourselves sitting on the balcony watching the Naval boats coming and going from the Simons Town harbour, and star gazing at night. Tip: Take a pair of binoculars, you won’t regret it.
The area is safe and secure, of course it’s still South Africa, so you play it safe by putting the alarm on and locking up properly, but we never once felt any concern about safety.
The local beach is super clean, and is only a few minute’s drive away, basically just freewheel down the hill and you’re there.
The home had everything we needed for our group of 8, including one infant. The lift was a great help in getting all of the bags and kid’s things into the house.
Load shedding wasn’t an issue at all thanks to the inverter system.
Thanks again to the hosts, it was everything we hoped it would be.

5Perfect place for my family and friends. Large but comfortable, small outdoor area, packed with beautiful plants and things to keep us busy and chilled. Really felt like our home away from home. Coral was a superb host, giving us ton of information and helping us get settled easily with our 7 month old baby, travel cot and high chair was prepared. Loved this place and created beautiful memories there… Very thankful to be able to stay there.

NOTE: the two twin beds are in a room that is separate from the rest of the house. You have to go outside and up steps to get to it. It would be much better if this room had a queen or king bed.
Our family group of eight people really enjoyed our stay there. The area is great and the view of the bay was refreshing every day.

2Je ne recommande pas cette maison pour des familles. La piscine n’est pas sécurisée et elle est trop proche de l’entrée, j’ai eu quelques frayeurs quand ma fille de tout juste 3 ans longeait la piscine pour rentrer dans la maison. Chose étrange et pas pratique, la télévision est dans la pièce du jacuzzi, qui est froide et humide. Attention, c’est dit dans l’annonce mais on peut ne pas y faire attention : une chambre est indépendante de la maison on y accède par un escalier à part ce qui est moins pratique quand on est une famille avec enfants. La vue est certes sur mer mais pas tres proche, on a aussi la vue sur beaucoup d habitations. Et puis il y a 2 toutes petites chambres dans la maison principale et une autre immense, trop grande, vide et humide. Pas un tableau au mur dans cette chambre. En voyant les photos je pensais que la maison était moderne mais en réalité, à part la cuisine, elle est un peu vieillissante. Les seuls points positifs sont le jacuzzi et le trampoline (attention pas de filet autour).
Je trouve que la maison est bien trop chère. Nous avons logé dans de plus belles maisons avec plus de confort et une plus belle vue à quelques kms de là et pour moins cher. En bref, si vous êtes une famille, passez votre chemin.

4Lovely place to get away. The grounds keeper kept popping around which was rather annoying when you book a place toe left alone but the agent that check us in was very good.

The pool was quite cold, but the outside area in general is just great.
The house id located in a nice area and it is easy to get around with a car. There are some lovely places to visit close by and only 10 min. drive from Boulders Beach.

5Spectacular views and funky decor makes this house a pleasure to stay in. Elsies Peak a short walk away was an added bonus for great views. The beach at Glencairn is very pleasant and soon the parking and ablution upgrade will be completed, so very accessible.
