Spacious, modern, light & airy three bedroomed home in quiet Hout Bay neighbourhood with views, views and views. A scenic pool and an expansive wooden deck for sundowners and braai (BBQ) watching awesome African sunsets. Half an hour from Cape Town city centre and the V&A Waterfront but only minutes away from forests for walks & hikes, the vineyards and restaurants of Constantia and the pristine Llandudno beach and Hout Bay village with its popular Harbour Market.
When you walk in you relax immediately. Light, spacious and stylish with everything you could possibly need on hand. Three bedrooms - the main bedroom has a king sized bed with en-suite bathroom with large bath. Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have a double/queen bed and the second bathroom has bath and shower. All three bedrooms have lovely views of the surrounding mountains.
The large open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen lead through large glass doors to a covered patio that in turn leads on to the pool and deck with an outside 6 seater table to have your meals al fresco. The kitchen has everything you could need including a double door fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, 5 plate gas hob and electric oven, microwave and Le Creuset pots as well as fibre internet, a large smart TV with Netflix and a glass fronted fireplace for colder nights.
There is off street parking available for one car.
Car hire is recommended as there are no public transport stops nearby.
Uber or Taxis are also an option.

5What a lovely home in a great location. We stayed here for two weeks with our two children. The house was really well equipped with gorgeous mountain views – the kids loved the pool. Paddy and Chris were really responsive. We were sorry to leave and would definitely stay again.
5We were uncertain where to stay in the Cape area and in the end picked here. We were delighted with our choice. A great location, very comfortable, great bathrooms, wonderful sitting room and kitchen. Loads of space- loved the cat. Paddy was very kind and helpful in every way.

5Our stay has been very comfortable and the ideal base to explore the Cape peninsula. Every day after returning from a long exhausting day, it has been a pleasure sitting in the garden overlooking the Houtbay mountains.

5We had a lovely stay at Paddy and Chris’ home ! It was bright, comfortable and super relaxing. we came with our 3 month old and Paddy and Chris had very kindly set up the travel cot and offered us a changing mat as well, which was very helpful. There were lots of toys and books to discover and play with too – Sasha the Seal was a favourite! The pool and terrace were perfect for sunset drinks after busy days out exploring Cape Town. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bedrooms were comfortable with great mountain views. Paddy and Chris were incredibly responsive to any issues or queries we had to ensure our stay was a comfortable one. The location was peaceful, yet a quick drive to the all the main Cape Town sights. Would gladly stay here again, highly recommended!

5Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön und ist absolut empfehlenswert. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und ruhig gelegen. Ein absolutes Highlight ist die Terrasse mit dem Pool. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft fast noch schöner als auf den Bildern! Alles war sehr sauber und die Absprachen mit Paddy waren sehr einfach. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! ☺️

5We absolutely loved staying at Paddy and Chris’s house. It is beautifully open planned and let in lots of sunshine. We just felt at home straight away. There is everything you could ever need and more. The kitchen is fully equipped and we enjoyed lovely leisurely breakfasts and the occasional dinner cooked at home.

5Fantastic house with an amazing view, a great swimming pool and patio and a very well equipped kitchen. In 10 to 15 minutes you are both in Hout Bay or Constantia with plenty of good places to eat or things to do. The communication with Paddy and Chris was excellent.
5We thought the house was fantastic – great setting, very well equipped and felt like a home away from home. Paddy and Chris were very welcoming and helpful, answering our questions and even helping us to sort out a babysitter. We were very grateful for the high chair, cot and toys for our baby as well.

5We had an great, relaxing stay! I absolutely loved the stocked up kitchen that had absolutely everything you’d need in a self catering establishment. Felt like a home away from home, the house is well maintained. Everything was well thought out, there were even toys for our kids. The views were spectacular. There’s a shopping complex close by.

We stayed for 8 days with Paddy & Chris and travelled around Cape Town from there. We enjoyed the nice terrace for breakfast and even got in the pool. The furniture and the decoration made it felt like home and better? our 8 month old daughter also enjoyed her time in that house.

5We stayed at Paddy & Chris for 15 days over the Christmas holidays. My husband said he wanted a quite, peaceful holiday away from the buzz of the city that’s exactly what we got.
The location is ideal for a peaceful holidays overlooking beautiful mountains, hiking trails, peaceful & safe location.
Paddy & Chris were gracious hosts, they made us feel very comfortable from providing cots, feeding chair & toys for my one year old to local recommendations for restaurants & things to do. The house was as described and exactly like in the photos, nicely designed with amazing kitchen that has everything you need. The patio area is also stunning with amazing views and a sparkling pool for the hot days we enjoyed our stay & will definitely recommend this place.

5We travelled with our newborn and our stay was very comfortable! Paddy’s kitchen has everything you can possibly imagine. It’s so complete a chef can create a 4 course meal! The livingroom is as spacious as the photos show with lots of natural light and comfy couches. The fireplace gives a lot of warmth! When we arrived they just completely renovated both bathrooms, so luxurious and hot shower/bath was great.
The view from the terrace gives beautiful sunsets and complete privacy. The entire area where the house is located is very save, peaceful and well maintained! Our SUV fitted on the parking infront of the door.
Despite the national electricity “load shedding” they ensured wifi and lights were always available which was a huge plus! The check in and communication was always fast and clear. Chris and Paddy are wonderful people and we recommend staying with them!

5We stayed four adults and one infant for two weeks at Chris and Paddy’s lovely place. What an oasis! Particularly the bottom floor that opens up onto the deck is so special. The kitchen is so well appointed and has everything you could possibly need to prepare a scrumptious feast, from breakfast buffets with freshly squeezed juice to seafood barbecues in the evening. The doors open up for an ultimate indoor-outdoor living experience, with beautiful views and magical sunsets. The pool is so refreshing and perfect for sunny days, with passionsfruit occasionally dropping that were ripe enough to eat. What more could you ask for?!

5This is a fab place to stay for visiting all of Cape Town, you’re perfectly positioned for driving to all of the top attractions and super close to the Wine Farms of Constantia. We loved our week here, the views are breathtaking, the house feels airy, spacious and clean. The facilities are excellent quality although we did miss having a decent sharp knife for cooking which would be our only complaint. Communication was perfect, Paddy and Chris were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole experience. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends.

5Chris & Paddy are excellent hosts and the house exceeded our expectations.
The house offers comfortable, modern living with an excellent outdoor area and a fabulous pool. The pool area is facing the direction of the afternoon and evening sun. The view is fabulous and the neighbourhood is safe. The garden is well maintained and lush & green.
If you like cooking, then you will find the kitchen to be well equipped for even the most demanding chef.
We stayed for 10 days with our kids (4 and 8 year old) and they enjoyed it just as much as we did. Excellent house, fabulous hosts! Highly recommended
