1. 5Wow! What a lovely place to stay.
   Such a beautiful place!! Spacious- open and just beautiful.
   We stayed here with family – we were a big group and the space accommodated us all! It was great that each room had its own ensuite bathroom – everyone had their own space and never did we feel like we were on top of each other.
   Thoko- the onsite housekeeper was responsive and helped us when we needed it!
   The views were absolutely breathtaking-
   The beach is not too far to walk too for a cold dip-
   We enjoyed using the fire place at night to sit around and chat.
   Everyone was happy and enjoyed their stay, thank you Oliver. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

2. 3We were a group of 17 (including kids) from Canada and England. The views from this house are spectacular! Absolutely breathtaking! Unfortunately the house needs some maintenance. We communicated to the owner about the issues we experienced so my hope is that these problems will be fixed in the next few weeks/months. Given the price and location, we expected a more comfortable stay but flooding showers, no hot water, some appliances needing maintenance or replacing, push back from the caretaker when we asked about amenities which should’ve been included as listed on the posting really took away from this place. This is to name a few issues. I’ve never written a negative airbnb review so this is very difficult for me to express. I truly hope things are fixed around the house because the view of the beach, view of the mountains, and size of the house have the potential to make this such a unique and luxurious location. You will not regret the neighbourhood, but the house needs some TLC.

3. 5I booked the property to film my sketch content, and this property served my needs perfectly. The property is beautiful and will definitely return. Oliver was clear and concise. A pleasure to communicate with. Along with the caretaker being an outstanding individual.

4. 5The Llandudno was a fabulous spot to stay at and to host a year end gathering for CEOs and top management.
   The house not only had great views, it was clean, but was well equipped with all our needs.
   Thoko the house manager was exceptional and very helpful.
   Oliver was a great host, always responsive and most accommodating.
   I will definitely be booking there in the future.

6. 3The house itself is absolutely beautiful — the design and decor are stunning, and the location was perfect for our stay. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into creating a welcoming and visually appealing space.
   That said, we were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and essentials. There were noticeable areas that hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned, and basic supplies like extra toilet tissue, paper towels, and detergent were missing or very limited. These small details made the stay less convenient than we had hoped, especially for a property at this price point.
   The dishwasher was also broken upon arrival and not fixed during our stay. Nobody wants to wash dishes on vacation. Lastly, there were only two remotes to get in and out of the property so it’s very difficult with a large group because there was no way to enter the property without keeping up with the remote. Very inconvenient. The host himself was very accommodating to our request for a later checkout.

7. 5We loved this villa so much, we came back for a second time. Once again we loved it and had a fabulous stay. Stunning spacious villa, equiped with everything you need and more! Breathtaking views from almost every corner of the villa. Oliver is a lovely host, always friendly, responds in record time and gives great recommendationa. Thanks so much Oliver for being such a great host! We had a great time and hope to come back again.

8. 5We had a great time! We had a private chef come out, and the place had everything we needed, including what the chef required. It’s a beautiful house—spacious, peaceful, and the rooms have everything you might need.

9. 5The Llandudno house is extraordinary. It’s a stunning place in the most amazing location, with the most amazing views. Just hate that it was really cold so we couldn’t make use of the pool and outside seating area. Thank you to Oliver for his prompt and friendly communication all throughout.

13. 5The place is nestled quite well in Llandudno with exceptional views of the ocean. Oliver was a great host (so was Thoko, the housekeeper). Despite there being a burst water pipe in the area, Oliver made sure there was a back up plan, and kept us up to date which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend staying here!

15. 5The Llandudno was one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed in. Llandudno beach is about 1km from the house and may be one of the prettiest beaches in South Africa. If you want to take your friends/family somewhere special- don’t consider booking anywhere else! Incredible views from every room. You won’t believe it until you see it! Oliver and Thoko were also wonderful, making check in/check out very easy. Highly recommend!

17. 5This house is absolutely stunning – beautiful, spotless, incredibly spacious, amazing views, outstanding kitchen, and great location. It’s easy to walk down to the beautiful Llandudno Beach and a great playground, and it’s a quick drive from many other places. We absolutely loved it – we were four families (9 adults and 7 kids) and had more than enough room. Oliver was very responsive and helpful. My only caution is to be very careful driving up the driveway as it is very easy to scrape your car because of the sharp angle. We would 100% stay here again.

18. 5We booked this accommodation for a special family gathering over two days. It was a beautiful space for this, just what we wanted. When the weather forecast was dodgy for one of the days Oliver was very helpful in adjusting our check in / check out times where he could to accommodate us having our special day on the sunny day. The setting is spectacular and Thoko the onsite caretaker was very helpful when we needed it. Highly recommended.

19. 1This house needs maintenance, re- equipping and a good clean. Our time here was ruined dealing with multiple facilities and appliances that were broken, blocked or poorly maintained and cleaned. Bedrooms were unusable due to smelling drains, showers didn’t drain, kitchen appliances didn’t work, security doors didn’t lock, generally very tired and dirty. While the house is large and beautifully set, it is certainly not in any state to be rented as a high-end, luxury property. Oliver is responsive as long as you are prepared to waste your holiday time dealing with multiple repair issues and put up with a filthy house, broken appliances and poorly maintained utilities. Our 4 day stay here was a nightmare for 10 guests and spoiled the end of our 3wk holiday. The Host needs to clean it, replace broken appliances, repair and update multiple facilities, sort the drains and spend some of the money that he is taking off tourists to bring the property up to speck.

22. 5Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable dans la villa Llanludno d’Oliver (10 jours). Dès votre arrivée, vous serez époustouflé par la taille de cette maison. Elle est idéale pour un voyage en famille et des retrouvailles . La vue est spectaculaire et tellement apaisante. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain et est magnifiquement décorée. La salle à manger et le séjour ainsi que la cuisine américaine sont gigantesques, ce qui vous permet de ne pas vous retrouver les uns sur les autres. Quel plaisir de déjeuner ou goûter au bord de la piscine. De plus l’alarme et les caméras vous font vous sentir en sécurité.
    Thoko a été au petit soin pour nous et a répondu à toutes nos attentes. Un grand merci à lui sans oublier Oliver.
    Nous reviendrons dans cette belle villa et je la recommande ++++++❤️

23. 5Oliver’s house was incredible and absolutely perfect for the thirteen of us who stayed. The place is incredibly well kept, huge and has everything you could possibly want. The location is safe and easy to get taxis centrally into Cape Town (25-30 mins) or a short 15 minute walk to the beach. We hope to be back soon!

24. 4The Llandudno is in an outstanding setting with a fabulous view. The rooms are spacious and there’s a very good amount of indoor and outdoor living space for a large group. We had a fantastic time at The Llandudno and the house manager was very helpful. However, there are lot of appliances, services, infrastructure for the property that are tired and in need of an update or maintenance to align with expectations for such a great property.

28. 5Just had an amazing stay at this Llandudno Airbnb for our company’s 10th anniversary! The bedrooms are a dream – really spacious and each with its own en suite, plus waking up to those bay views is something else. The living area is huge, perfect for our group of thirteen, with a kitchen that’s a chef’s delight. We spent loads of time in the pool area, which is great for a swim or just lounging, and the built-in BBQ became our favourite spot for chilling and grilling!
    The house is really private and not at all overlooked. The beach is a peaceful 15-min walk away, and it’s stunning, not too crowded even on weekends. Getting to central Cape Town is easy, about a 30-min drive, and Uber services are impressively quick, never waited more than 5 mins.
    In summary, if you’re looking for a group getaway in Cape Town this Airbnb is a fantastic choice. It’s a wonderful mix of comfort, luxury and convenience, and we can’t wait to return. A big thanks to our hosts for making our stay so special!

32. 5First I’d like to start by saying that this house was amazing! It was clean upon arrival, and was even more breathtaking than the photos posted.
    The staff were all amazing and Thoko made sure to welcome us and took care of any needs during our stay. He was simply amazing, and added so much to our positive experience. Oliver, the owner was also great and efficiently communicated with me prior to our arrival- as well as during our stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better team.
    Each bedroom had its own uniqueness to it and the home itself was spacious enough for our large group.
    When I return to Cape Town I will most definitely book at The Llandudno again.

33. 3We have high expectations and always rent high end properties for that reason.
    The Llandudno is a large house with a breathtaking view of the ocean, situated in one of the exclusive suburbs in Capetown.
    The pictures are a true reflection of what you will find when arriving at the property.
    Unfortunately the property is in no way luxurious and needs TLC & did not meet our expectations.
    South Africa is a country that has suffered power issues for many years and to find that the property is not suitably equipped to assist guests to navigate this disruption was a surprise and clearly was not expected for a property of this size and pricing.
    Although this is a national issue, other similar properties and establishment have generators and inverters to avoid spoiling the rental experience. In short you must be ready for up to 6 hours without power.
    Bed linen and towels were poor quality and no arrangement for changing or cleaning! Pool is heated but we had to beg them to turn it on.

    Thoko the caretaker was very friendly and also quick to respond – popping in to help us work things etc.

    The views from the property are sensational.
    The kitchen is well furnished to accommodate a large group
    Lots of space for a large group both indoor and outside.

36. 5Oliver was a very attentive host with support staff on hand when needed. More importantly the property was spectacular with the most gorgeous views over the ocean.
    The roof terrace is perfect for sundown! I hope to be back next year.

39. 4Great location. If we ever have a party big enough we will stay again. Host was very responsive and ensured our stay was memorable. Thoko, the house keeper and his team are amazing. Being 5 mins from the private beach is amazing. Great facilities. Few minor issues that were rectifed during our stay. There is parking on the property but it is quite a challenge due to the hill, especially at night if you’re not used to complete darkness due to the area not having street lights. Wonderful place, fully equipped and clean!

40. 5“The Llundadno” is the ideal place to gather a group and take in all the splendour of where the sun meets the sea! This beautiful villa is exactly as described and photographed, the views are absolutely breath taking from every room and corner of the property. Communication with Oliver was open and easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our year end function, and it will be a very special one for the memory bank! I would highly recommend “The Llundadno”.

42. 5We had a fantastic stay at Oliver’s villa in Llandudno. The villa with all its bedrooms and living room areas is enermous. The ocean view is spectacular, it is one of the best views I have ever seen.
    Thoko, the housekeeper, welcomed us warmly and made sure that we had everything we needed. We can highly recommend the villa if you are looking for something special in Cape Town with remarkable views. We will definitely be back!

43. 5Had an amazing weekend at villa Llandudno. The house is immaculately furnished, exceptional attention to detail. Every room has a massive en-suite and the outside pool area & jacuzzi is where we spent the majority of the days.
    The house keeper Thoko went above & beyond helping us check in and with any questions.
    Would highly recommend staying here with family or friends. We had a lovely 30th & 60th birthday celebrations. Thanks for the amazing time!

44. 5I cannot overstate how lovely this place is. It is exceptionally spacious. The views of the ocean and sunset are magnificent. The housekeeper attended to all our needs immediately and the owner is incredibly welcoming and informative. My team thoroughly enjoyed our night in this home. Highly recommended.
