5We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at House Sidmouth. The villa was beautiful and very well stocked with anything a large group could possibly need. We found the house keeper Patricia to be extremely attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here!
4Overall, my stay was positive, and the property is charming. However, I encountered an issue during my stay as the air conditioner in my bedroom leaked water onto the bed on the first night. Unfortunately, this made the bed wet and the air conditioner unusable for the remainder of my stay, resulting in an uncomfortably warm room as I had to keep the doors closed due to strong winds. Despite this setback in the bedroom, the rest of the house was delightful. The cleaning lady changed my bed sheets and tried her best but not much she could do.
Additionally, I found the cleaning fee of R5,800 to be rather steep, especially considering the house was cleaned by a single cleaning lady. While the overall experience was good, addressing these concerns could further enhance the guest experience. Thank you for your attention to these matters.
