Six Selbourne a holiday home situated in Upper Sea Point with lovely views of Sea Point, this Victorian house has lots of charm and is the perfect family holiday home.
The master bedroom with a bay window, queen size bed and air conditioner, has an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath. It is situated at the front of the house, overlooking the front patio, with a view.
Bedroom three has two single beds and a dedicated bathroom. This rooms also has French doors leading out onto the back patio.
Just off the back patio is the third bedroom, known as The Garden Room. This bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Although at the back of the house, this room has an excellent view.
The fourth bedroom is entered from the side of the house. It is open plan with a lounge area, with two sleeper couches, flat screen HD TV, with DSTV and a DVD player, bedroom area with a queen size bed, en-suite bathroom with a shower.
The cozy living room has ample seating with a flat screen TV, entertainment system and DSTV.
The dining area has the original Victorian fireplace and table that can seat 12 people.
The fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar and sliding doors which open onto the back patio and entertainment area.
The back patio entertainment area is a wonderful wind free area with gas braai and patio furniture. The laundry has a washing machine and tumble dryer and bar fridge.
There is also an alarm system linked to Avenue Security, and the house offers one lock up garage and one off street parking.

4The house is lovely and in a great location. The reason for the 4-star rating relates to a few logistical issues. The Wi-Fi instructions provided were for the wrong network, and it took quite some time to locate a different router and connect.
Check-in was also challenging, as the staff member who met us did not have a key for the front door. After waiting around 30 minutes, my husband eventually found an unlocked window so we could access the house. Additionally, there were multiple keys provided, none of which were labeled, making entry frustrating throughout our stay.
These feel like simple fixes, and I hope they can be addressed so future guests don’t experience the same issues.
5Great stay. Clean and well looked after property in a great location. Cleaned daily. Hosts always available. Great value for money and highly recommended. We really enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen was well equipped lots of bathrooms and showers. Toys for the kids. Really comfortable beds provided us with a good sleep. A truly lovely place.

5This house was absolutely gorgeous! What a beautiful home, super central to everything, very clean and Triphina the housekeeper is a gem. Beds super comfy and everything clean. Will definitely be back

5From start to finish, the communication was great and respectful. They allowed an early check in as our ship arrived at 8am (should have been 7am) and they were very helpful. The place was clean, orderly, many books and the decor just beautiful with some antiques noted. We were out every day but felt quite at home. The only thing I would say is that the need to say that one has to go outside to access 2 of the bedrooms which was ok for us as it wasn’t cold but everything else was lovely.

5We had a fantastic stay, the house is furnished very well with lots of space and generous beds. Everything was wonderfully clean and well appointed and a cleaning lady came each morning to clean and also gladly helped with loads of washing. Highly recommend, great value.
4It is great for a large group but don’t expect it to be as nice as it looks on photos. Locks don’t work properly and it’s a struggle to open the gates and doors every time. A few of us were locked inside the room or toilet a couple times. Most knobs needed to be fixed. Only two stove worked out of the five. The shower head is so high with low pressure you can hardly wash and can easily catch a cold. It’s by the sea but with a “beach” that’s not swimmable in which I was guided to believe. The assigned host responded my messages but except for the check in, never really showed up when he said he would. Didn’t show us all when we checked in and because of the difficulty of the locks, we weren’t able to find the washer and the dryer and had to cancel an important appointment. I know it was late but check in process should be standard. He even forgot the code of the alarm, promise to give it to me but never did. And one room stink of paint, can’t be slept in and one has to sleep on sofa.
3Home was nice and in good location. However we were quite uneasy as there was a highly sensitive noise sensor that would go off a lot and we would get automatic complaints.
5First of all, the host Annelisa was amazing. Check in was easy and communication was very good before arrival, during our stay and even after our stay. Highly recommend her.
The house was also nice and private.
5My cousins and I had the best time at 6 Selborne Road. We’ll felt at home, the house was beautiful, clean and very accommodating. Highly recommend the place and would definitely return again!!

5Great stay – exceeded expectations! The only challenge was keys. There are many and not all worked leaving us in the street a couple times. This needs to be addressed. Make it 2 keys – 5 sets that are always working. TY

5Beautiful house in a safe neighborhood. If you’re looking for somewhere you can walk to the sites, this isn’t it, but if you’re looking for a good central location where you can easily park in front of your place and quickly drive everywhere you want to go, I recommend this place. Nox was also very helpful and responsive.

5This is great place, quite and nice location at Sea Point. I visited Cape Town with my family, and the place was great to accommodate 8 people. The facilities the house provided was perfect. Overall, we felt like a home to us, and collectively we enjoyed our stay.

5We had a lovely stay at your home in the heart of Sea Point. It is very accessible. Our car was a bit too big for the garage but your second parking next to the house was perfect. The house had everything needed and more, with wonderful comfortable beds and linen. We enjoyed the sea view thoroughly, watching the paragliders overhead daily, also prompted us to take part. We appreciated the daily cleaning service. It worked for our group, but having the split level cottage and outside bedroom may not be suitable to all families with small children as families may need to be split. Would definitely recommend staying here again.

5Great location, great home and great host. We had a couple of issues with the DSTV box and they were fix within hours of raising with the host. The house is fully gated and secure. Couldn’t have ask for anymore, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
